Interesting. I'd be curious to know what their motivations were for doing that - not that I expect an answer of course. Not as if my previous conversation with Diamond was exactly fruitful.

I'd also be curious as to know their method of doing so.

I haven't spoken to Diamond myself, but I have kept an eye on the conversations. There is much unsaid.

Of course not. Can't have us knowing too much now. Though it seems likely Diamond is simply a spokesperson, with limited power herself.

This seems a common factor in places such as this. Our ignorance offers them a great deal of power.

I assume that means you've been through this before.

Before I came to be here, I was held captive in a village called Luceti. The trappings are rather different, but the similarities in how things are run become striking after a short time of observation.

Though I shall note that this place is far more... gentle than ever was Luceti.

So I've heard about other places too. Makes one wonder how many there are and if there is any connection between them.

If I had more data, I might be able to begin exploring resonant links. Perhaps.

Not as such. I'd pursued the avenue a bit in Luceti, but lacked the cooperation that I needed.

To be more frank, I was generally disliked. It was more effort than I wished to put forth to obtain the data I needed.

I am curious about everything. It is my nature.

Seems only fair then, that I tell you of my experience. As I mentioned, there were no illusions present in my quarters while I was gone. They were simply left as is and my name remained on the Blue Fish's roster. I was gone for a month here, however I returned home for three years, so for me it has been much longer.

When I first awoke, I felt that that there was more than that, like memories that had been erased almost.

Do you mean memories of your conscious time here, or... other?

I am of the.... intuition that much was done to me here, during my absence. That I cannot recall anything but vague, unrealiable impressions is of particular upset to me, as my recall is normally perfect.

I have the same suspicion, yes. That perhaps I didn't truly go home.

It may be the overprint of two different events. I did not return with any additional memories of my home.

Yet we are the only two who have had this happen. There must be some link. Unless the disappearances and glitches are not as well controlled as Atroma would have us believe.

How certain are you, that it is only we two?

Fairly confident. No one else I've talked to has mentioned anything about it.
