How've you been? Not that I'm complaining, but I think I've seen you around more than usual.

[More like, things are shit but also really good, so it balances out to "fine". Clay leans away from the fridge then, if only to investigate the cookies. Gotta make sure they're okay after Stefan's clearly had his mind elsewhere, even if it's on just being tired.]

Yeah! ... Well, sort of. My best friend from home showed up here too: Apollo Justice. He's the one who knows her, and he talked about her a lot back at home.

[And judging by the way he's beaming, he's super happy that both Apollo and Trucy are here, even if it's only for a little while. Satisfied that the cookies look okay, Clay leans against the kitchen counter instead.]

He wanted to arrange for us to meet up, but we've always been really busy. Courtroom cases can't solve themselves, and astronauts have to train hard! [No hard feelings, but they've been missing out.]

[Stefan returns that grin, for once forgetting his current sleep-deprived state. He can hold off a little bit longer!]

Makes sense. I can't blame you, and honestly, I'm kinda thrilled. Means you can taste-test my hummus later.

[Because yeah, he's got you, bro. He remembers how much Clay prefers healthy things, and nothing says healthy quite like hummus.]

[He puts his hands on his hips as he turns to face Stefan a bit better.]

Apollo probably won't admit it, but Trucy's definitely like a little sister to him. [His grin turns more teasing now, but still definitely fond.] So, by default, she's a little sister to me. I know I can count on you to take care of her, but I'm obligated to ask you anyway!

[He can respect that. If Olette or Marinette had mysteriously arrived on Clay's ship, Stefan would've asked the same thing. So he nods, standing a little straighter.]
