I... [ Well that's...a good question, actually. Sascha doesn't usually think on those terms. He's used to doing nothing wrong and being hated for it, thinking the problem just lied intrinsically with himself and he ought to fix it somehow. He's always done whatever he can to please people. ]

...I made Winn scared. That's wrong, right? And I bit you.

You apologised. People are gonna be freaked for a while, but they'll get over it. If you really feel bad about it, get out there and make sure that's not the last memory they have of you.

[pneumo]

You mean--talk to them....? [ That's a mildly terrifying thought Nami ]

[namisan]

Only if you want to. But you should still be out there having a life, either way. They'll come to you when they're ready.

[pneumo]

But I feel bad about it... [ And that guilt is enough to make him want to avoid putting the "burden" of seeing him again on them. ]

[namisan]

That's good. It means you're not a jerk.

But you can stop wallowing in it now. It's been weeks.

[She breaks off, pointing near murderously at the nearest seat.] Sit.

[ OH-SO. But it gets the desired result at least because Sascha makes a short sound and nods, hastily moving to obey. He has not the amount of guilt necessary to overpower the fear she invokes when angry. ]

Now. [That she has you actually sitting down, she leans back, putting her feet up on the table.]

How much of this has to do with what Wanda told you?

[pneumo]

Yeah, I know the scary lady. She's not nearly as scary as I am. Answer the question.

[ ...You know what, Nami really is. Sascha decides it's in his best interest to obey. ]

I, um... She--told me not to go near her brother? So I didn't and I stayed in Bigby's room?

[namisan]

Okay. Well, two things.

[Holdin' up fingers as she goes.] One, Pietro is perfectly capable of telling you to get lost himself if he felt the need for you to avoid him. Wanda was just being protective. And two: Pietro isn't on this ship anymore. So even if anyone had a right to demand that of you, the point is moot.

[pneumo]

Pietro was really nice! He never told me to get lost~ We slept together. [ Literally as in, he slept next to Pietro and leeched as much warmth off of him as he possibly could. ]

I wish he was still here... [ Even if that would mean Wanda's warning was still in effect ]

[Oh god, no wonder Wanda lost it. Nami gapes at him for a second before reminding herself what Sascha's really like, and then does the most epic of facepalms.]

Well yeah, I met her on the way out... [ Literally. He'd woken up and was going to go wash up for the evening, walked straight out of Pietro's room...and into her. ]

My point still stands. Pietro has his own mind; if he didn't complain, you're taking Wanda too seriously. [It might've been different if Pietro had struck her in any damn way as unable to defend himself, but...] And he's not here anymore, so go. Get out, get some fresh-- well, get some different air. You're allowed to exist, Sascha.

[pneumo]

I...I that! [ That he's allowed to exist. ] I just...didn't know if anyone wanted me around after.

Well, we've argued this point already. You know Winter?

[pneumo]

...? Yeah, it's cold.

[ Sascha has no idea there is a person here named Winter, or that he went berserk a while back. ]

Winter's also the name of a person here. He's got a metal arm. Not so long ago, the Atroma did something to his augment that made him wig out and attack a huge amount of people on the Iskaulit. People were hurt way above and beyond anything you did.
