[Despite the destructive nature of this dastardly duo, there have been surprisingly few resident deaths as a direct result of their combined rampaging. Still, the property damage is mindboggling, and Sorey and Mikleo both have spent the past few days soaking up and sewing malevolence like there's no tomorrow. The people in their territory are terrified, homeless, helpless and hopeless. Despite the steady streams of people hunting down the boy and his dragon, no one has succeeded in killing either of them.

Sorey, more hellion than human now and growing more unstable by the hour, is beyond reason, a mass of the anger and frustration in more than ready supply by the system's inhabitants. Mikleo is nearly mindless, is no longer content to listen to orders for the sake of keeping his deteriorating partner happy. Soon, it won't be enough to just rip up trees by the roots and brutalize those coming after them.

Soon, nothing will be enough.]

WEAKENING THE DRAGON

[Mikleo has for the moment separated himself from Sorey- when the others come and Sorey dismisses him he has no objections, content to fly free and away from the presence of his "master". He's grown frustrated and unsatisfied by all the limitations placed on him lately. Dragons were not meant to be tamed or subdued, and while his affection for his hellion partner still lingers, he's been refusing to obey orders infrequently of late, and scolding does very little to make him adjust his behaviour. The moment Sorey sets him loose, his attention focused on them, always them, not enough him, he snarls and soars off to a nearby mountain to sulk and endure alone. It isn't far- no more than a few minutes by flight, really- but it's enough of a hint to Sorey that he's glad to have some space between them.

It doesn't help that he's still nursing his lingering wounds from all of the previous battles. As the malevolence builds, both within and around him, his healing artes have become less and less effective. His body is riddled with half-healed scars, and his current nesting place is covered in a blanket of freshly-created snow for him to roll, nestle, and soak in, allowing the element to soothe the injuries and wash away the blood.

Thanks to the damage previously inflicted, his senses are struggling, and he's been left vulnerable. Really, it wasn't wise to separate himself from Sorey in such a state, but he's no longer a creature driven by logic, and his pride currently outweighs his sense of self-preservation. He's a dragon; he's been made strong, powerful, nigh-invincible. He can fight his own battles, surely.]
