The cameras were undoubtedly broadcasting this dramatic arrival to the galaxy. In addition to the open network feed aboard the Marsiva, Kylo's personal communicator got switched on - offering a Blair Witch-style view of a ratings-boosting scuffle.

He was supposed to wake up on the hospitality deck. But Force have mercy, Kylo came to while the robotic assistants were patching up the injuries he sustained on Starkiller Base. Of course, that's when the fight began. Sparks flew. Weapons were improvised. Panicked screams of "what have you done to me?" echoed in the medbay. There was so much going on that words were hard to make out, but some likely heard "I will not be captured by the Resistance!" or "Give me back my lightsaber!" That alone was enough context for some to know exactly who had just arrived in the fleet.

Eventually, though, the robots won. Kylo Ren was sedated again. His injuries were repaired as quickly as possible (they would scar), and he was left to wake up - not in a comfortable bunk, but on the floor of a locked and heavily-barricaded supply closet.

Action:

If anyone is interested in wandering by in person, the closet has a window to the hallway. Be prepared to be greeted by sights and sounds of someone throwing a temper tantrum at the metal walls with whatever janitorial supplies the robots keep in there.

As a joke, there's also a sign hanging from the knob that says 'Don't Feed the Bears.'

If you'd rather send Kylo Ren a message, his communicator is still on and broadcasting. As enraged as he is, he hasn't even noticed that it's there.

[Kitty watches the scuffle with interest. She's never seen the medical robots of the fleet. It's not her first experience with medical robots in general, but she likes to learn what she can about her new home and since she's been around since February it's been awhile since something new has caught her eye.]

Looks like you won't get this for awhile, but they always take the weapons.

[This has got to be specific punishment for her and General Hux. They got too comfortable. At least, they were able to take advantage of one small, shining moment of freedom before reality came crashing back in the form of those too familiar rants.]

[Keeping in mind she is still maintaining a low profile, she tries to choose her reply carefully in the ~~low~~ hopes of calming him down. It is too late to hope he hasn't already drawn the attention of their enemies.]

Yelling won't get you answers. You are among enemies. Don't encourage them.

[Well, this changed everything. He took a moment to observe the transmission, considering what he would have to do. Other things- well, he may have to see how they played out.]

If you're done, we have things to discuss.

[Finn's had a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach all day. When he flips on the video to check out the new arrival, it only takes him a few seconds to realize who it is--and why he's had that feeling of dread. He quickly snaps it shut, and there's a long wait before he actually sends anything in return. Long enough for Ren to have found the closet, at least. If he's not going to pay attention to his communicator, fine. Finn doesn't exactly want to get into an argument with him (yet) which he no doubt will at some point.

Because if Hux already knows he's here, no use hiding from Ren.]

You're stuck here now, just like the rest of us. Learn to deal with it.

[He'll have to send Allen something to apologize for being right about jinxing it.]

[A low, amused drawl.] Shouting I won't be when you already have been.

Adorable.

[Oh. SHIT.]

Eventually Kylo discovered his communicator, ripping it from his belt. He recognized the voice and the face that came with it on the video. The traitor. The one who rescued the pilot and helped the scavenger escape. The one he thought he killed.

"FN-2187." he growled with disgust, staring at the camera. It was the first time Finn had no doubt seen the mark Rey made on his face. "You survived!"

[Oh. YEAH.]

"Not for long! Just watch!"

It was a good thing communicators were relatively hardy little pieces of technology. Because Kylo Ren just slammed his down.

Oh, Kylo Ren was far from done. The walls of that closet were only partially covered in dents. But he'd at least noticed his communicator by this point. The face of General Hux was a surprisingly welcome sight.

"About time! I've been taken prisoner by the Resistance! They've done... something... to me. I don't know wh..."

He froze, dumbfounded, realizing that Hux could see his unmasked face just as easily as he could see the General's. He looked away for a moment, and then sighed. There was no use hiding now.

"...I don't know where I am."

He noticed that message quite some time later.

"I don't know who you are." he hissed. "But if you know what they've done with my lightsaber, I suggest you speak up!"

"Wow, someone is cranky when he gets abducted and knocked out by medical robots."

She smiles softly. "I think you mean, 'hi, thanks for speaking up to help me out even though you don't know who I am. I have more questions if you don't mind.'"

An anonymous... text? All the other transmissions he'd received on the communicator were video feeds. Apologies, Phasma... This message, Kylo wrongly assumed, must have come from the Resistance.

"You think I haven't figured that out!" he shouted back a recorded message. He was far too frustrated to tinker with it and see how to text a reply. "Come talk to me face to face, Resistance scum!"

He wasn't about to admit to a stranger that those robots did more than just abduct and knock him out. Whether they were actually to blame or not, his ties to the Force had been severely muted. So yes, he was extremely defensive.

(Never mind the fact this wasn't all that off from his more pleasant moods...)

"That wasn't helpful!"

He paused, and sighed. The newly formed scar on his face pulled a little.

"...What."

That would be giving the Resistance more credit than they deserve. We weren't brought here by the Resistance or Republic forces though you'll find some of them here.

[He had to drag you off that Hoth forsaken planet, Ren, he's not surprised by the scar.]

I know where you are and you're not going anywhere for the time being at least.

She drops the smile and looks at him with some concern. She doesn't exactly wear her heart on her sleeve especially for strangers, but she cares about people. Kind of part of being an X-Men. Especially when you're used to risking your life to save people who hate you.

Besides, this is her second time around being abducted by mysterious overlords with pull over the multiverse. She knows what that can be like.

"New? Do you remember how you got it?"

"New?" he repeated, now almost as confused as he was angry. "Remember how I got what? My weapon taken away? No."

Truthfully, Kylo Ren hardly remembered the rescue. Everything was a painful blur. And arriving here was a black hole in his memory. But he did recall fighting back. And waking up in a supply closet of all places.

"... The Supreme Leader, then? Hux, what in kriffing hell is going on?!"

"The injuries. I mean, I guess they would be." She was seeing him treated after all. At least she thinks that's what it was.

"Okay, so the weapons, my guess is that they just aren't here at all. We were probably brought in without them. If they're being held somewhere I've never heard anything about the location."

We're not in our galaxy anymore.

[Hux paused as he considered how explain their current situation. After a moment he switched the transmission to private. No need to let the Jedi or the Resistance see what they were discussing from this point on.]

Leader Snoke isn't here and he's not responsible for us being here. We are here because the Atroma brought here. And no, I don't know who they are exactly. But apparently every which happens here is part of some sort of reality show for them. Like a holo broadcast of sorts.

[ Theon surveys the scene on his device quietly for a moment, trying to work out why it feels so familiar. It's because Kylo's outburst very closely mirrors how Theon acted during his emotional breakdown only a month prior--just with a little less smashing of kitchen appliances.

As disorienting as it is to watch and wonder if this might be how unstable he appeared then, he wears a smirk when he switches on his feed to respond. ]

You do realize that you'll only amuse them? It's what they want.

[ Which is easy to say when it isn't him in that situation. ]

He didn't realize anyone could see his arrival. Nothing about this place had been explained to him yet. But her question did make sense. This was a video feed and from what he remembered of the last battle...

Kylo tentatively put a hand to his face. Immediately, he felt the rough outline of a scar that went across his cheek, past his chin, and down his shoulder.

"A scavenger girl who had no right being as strong in the Force as she was!"

The absence of his weapons was even more disappointing. His next reply was just as much a question as it was a statement.

"... You're a prisoner too."

Hopefully once a feed was encrypted, it stayed encrypted. Because despite being trapped in a small room with nothing to do, Kylo Ren hadn't yet bothered to figure out the finer details of his communicator.

"Wait... What?" He'd had heard a lot of ridiculous explanations. He was a Force user, after all. "Have you been hitting the Corellian whiskey again?"

A furious Kylo Ren snapped back, "Oh, if they show their faces, I'll give them something even more amusing!"

"That's right. Everyone you talk to here is a prisoner too. You're slightly more prisoner-y at the moment since you can't leave the Marsiva until they assign you another ship in the fleet."

Force. Lightsabers. The words ring bells and make her think of Leia and Luke who aren't here anymore and Obi-Wan and Finn who are. She knows a little about their world, but they're from different times and it's a lot to keep straight when it's all new to you and there are plenty of other people around with their own worlds and keywords and politics. So, maybe it's not so surprising when she asks, "You're a jedi?"
