When: All throughout the Solrius dragon plot and through the space flight to the next destination.

[So several RPG characters, a dragon, and two messianic figures walk into a planet.

Everything is suffering and tears, there's a lot of dead people, there's no punchline. But, hey, for the survivors, the Blue Fish's clinic is treating wounds and generally being a decent place to rest and recover and pray you don't see a dragon again. And for those who weren't involved, there's enough people bedridden here that there may just be someone you want to visit.]

Tired, but it's nothing I can't handle.

[Honestly, she's not downplaying it either. Bad as this is, she's dealt with a lot worse crises.]

[And from the tired smile on her own face, she probably has a good idea of what Bev's going through. The doctor might've seen worse, but honestly? Pinkie's pretty sure SHE hasn't.]

Honestly, I've been better. MOST of it's fine now, but a lot of stuff's been happening at once lately, you know? And not GOOD or FUN stuff either.

[Beverly reaches out, pauses, then pats Pinkie's shoulder, hoping that it offers similar comfort to her as it would a humanoid.]

Anything you need to talk about in particular?

... Have you ever been scared a friend might hurt somebody?

[Worried about where this is going, Beverly is cautious in her response.]

Okay, so this guy Kylo Ren showed up on the fleet a couple days ago, and our pilot Poe's really REALLY scared and angry at him, so he bought a WHOLE bunch of guns with a LOT of shots in them, and this is AFTER Hux shot Poe in the shoulder on the hand-holding planet and took WEEKS to heal, and he says guns are only for KILLING people, and what if he DOES shoot Ren and his crew gets mad and somebody shoots him back! We're already on a system with WAY too much fighting, I'm surprised there aren't Windigos freezing everybody here left and right, who KNOWS what a shooting fight could do?!

[So. Yeah. Little bit stressed here.]

[Buuut then she catches herself and flashes Beverly an apologetic smile.]

Uuuh... sorry about that?

[Beverly is startled by both the amount of information being thrown at her and what is being said. The only name she recognizes is Hux's and her opinion of him is hardly improving.]

It's all right, I understand why you're worried. Have you tried talking to Poe about this?

Well yeah, of COURSE I did as soon as I saw them all! I TRIED to talk him out of it, AND help him feel better by painting the shuttles, but... [sigh] I don't think he's gonna listen to me about it. And it's not like I know HOW to talk about it anyway, we don't HAVE guns in Equestria, and we certainly don't buy dozens and dozens so we can KILL other ponies, even if they're mean!

[Frowning, Beverly thinks about this for a moment. Poor Pinkie. It's a fraught enough situation as it is, but even more so if you're coming from a world that doesn't even have weapons like that.]

Who is Kylo Ren's captain, do you know?

He's still on the Marsiva for now. It's when he gets OFF that I'm worried about.

I think the best thing will be to get the captains together to talk about it, once we know Kylo's ship assignment.
