Who: Everyone messed up by the dragon plot, and visitors
Broadcast: N/A
Action: Blue Fish's clinic!
When: All throughout the Solrius dragon plot and through the space flight to the next destination.
[So several RPG characters, a dragon, and two messianic figures walk into a planet.
Everything is suffering and tears, there's a lot of dead people, there's no punchline. But, hey, for the survivors, the Blue Fish's clinic is treating wounds and generally being a decent place to rest and recover and pray you don't see a dragon again. And for those who weren't involved, there's enough people bedridden here that there may just be someone you want to visit.]

You are not the first I have met who could do so. It isn't a bad thing.

Usually human blood, but I'm... I don't do that.

[Beverly's eyes widen with realization. She points at him.]
That's why you drink so much tea, isn't it? It's your replacement!

[He furrows his brow. He knows he didn't mention it to her, so someone else must've. Allen, probably?]
no subject
Is something wrong?

[He taps his chin, his expression turning more thoughtful.] It's not a huge secret or anything, but they're not common knowledge either.

Sascha convinced one of his crewmates that he was starving and they came to me for help. So I asked Allen about it, given that he knows more about these sorts of things than I do, only to find out that Sascha had already tried to get at the blood in the blood bank and Allen had already told him about the blood pills.

That's perhaps putting it too nicely.

When Winter's augment malfunctioned and all those people were hurt... Sascha was on the Iskaulit, drinking the spilled blood even as people still lay there injured, even as I was trying to tend to them.
[Though it admittedly still makes her uncomfortable, it is one thing for Ramse to have offered his blood to Sascha. It is entirely another when Wrath was unable to give any consent to that.]

I saw him there too. [Stefan's voice grows quiet,] It was Ramadan, you know, and I was fasting that whole day. But that bastard just kept waving it in my face, like he was - like he was some entitled brat.
I barely kept my fast, Y'Allah forgive me, but he shouldn't have - he's older than me. He should've known better.

[But she looks down at Stefan and her expression softens.]
I'm so sorry. I can't even begin to imagine what that must have been like.

It's okay. I can't say I ever want to see him again, but... [He swallows.] This won't be the first or last time I'll have to stand my ground.
no subject
No, I suppose not. Still... You don't have to worry about him here at least. He is not allowed anywhere near our lab.

Praise be to Allah. If he likes blood that much, he can figure that out with someone more willing. Or, you know, actually swallow those pills.

[Stefan's relief only grows more visible.]
Which, thankfully, means that he's outta my jurisdiction.

Are you telling me he doesn't even have to have blood? Or is that something Sheols need too?
