Action: he's in his quarters on the Vanquish.
When: 9/13, which is the anniversary of a horrible catastrophe on his planet!! also his birthday. but mostly the catastrophe thing.

I've gotten a sponsorship box, although I am still not entirely sure what that means. Anyway, it came with the assertion that I should have a wonderful day. But since I hope that you, the reader, will have a wonderful day, and because it would take me a very long time to eat all of this, I'm going to leave it out and let you come and take a cup full, if you'd like to.



It's sitting in the cargo hold of the Vanquish. There are other things there, as well, but you can find this particular box thanks to the glitter on the floor surrounding it. You can take more than a cup, too. I won't be monitoring it. I want to share any bounty I can with any creature I can. A debt is no good.

I do have one request, independent of boxes and cups. If you have the time, and if you feel nostalgic, would you tell me about your planet? It can be anything you want to say. Whatever details are most vivid as the memory of your home. Whatever hallmarks you consider to define your dwelling place. Thanks.

Don't you think it would be nice to go swimming?

[That's actually a bit... spooky... to the point of being concerning. Kaworu sobers. It's uncomfortable, having his fate and livelihood in someone else's hands.]

Not for too long. Everything in my life got better afterward. :) Thank you; I hope I didn't shame myself too badly in front of you.

It really is an unfortunate thing, to be sorry. I like the idea of being safe.

And I am glad to have a friend like you.

So do I. But I tend to worry about that sort of thing, more often lately.

The climate is quite tremulous, lately... Despite that, I feel very strong. I admit I was shaken when my body was failing me, but now that that's passed, I feel stronger than ever. I want to approach life with vigor.

I hear there's such a thing as "moderation", though.

[That might be a sort of joke, at his own expense.]

Well, you're young, so "moderation" isn't something you have to worry too much about just yet.

When should I start worrying?

I honestly couldn't tell you. I'm the type who worries all the time.

When I was young, or, younger, I didn't really worry about anything. That only started as I grew and changed.

But having something to worry about is good.

When I was younger I worried all the time, over everything. That part didn't change much, but what I worried about did.

I suppose priorities do change with time, don't they. What I concerned myself with in my youth is so different from what I concern myself with now.

I hate to sound old and point this out, but you're still in your youth. Or at least you look like you are.

I guess I consider myself different from how I used to be. It feels like an awfully long time between then and now.
