[ The feed flickers on and it's a bit jarring at first, not focused, like he's forgotten he's turned it on. After a few seconds of shuffling around, Isaac's face appears on the screen. ]

So, does anyone play any sports here? Doesn't really matter what it is, I guess. I played lacrosse. They're just a good way to kill time. And we got a lot of that sometimes, so. Yeah. [ A shrug, and though he might seem uncomfortable, he's not. He's just a little awkward, don't mind him. ]

Thinking it might be good to get people together to do stuff like that sometimes. Sitting around on the Wonderduck can get a little old, at least for me. Space ships are cool and all, but. Uh. Maybe kickball or something easy, if people want to.

[ Isaac, no. Whiny teenager problems. ] Or we can like... spar. Beating each other up is kind of the same thing. Is there anything else to do after you've been here a while? I'm bored.

[Davesprite gets out a single ha before Isaac lobs the ball at him.]

[He juggles it right back at Isaac, possibly hitting him in the forehead. That's where he's aiming, after all, as Newton bounces back and forth between them.]

[ Lo and behold, it does hit him in the forehead. The ball drops into his lap and Newton flops across him, gnawing on the ball. Isaac has a goose egg beginning, but he's thankful that he heals quickly. ]

Next time I'm just gonna feed your wing to him or something. Bet he likes feathers. [ He pries the ball from Newton and throws it to another side of the room. ]

[Davesprite is pretty sure he didn't throw the ball that hard, but welp.]

Great observation, dude. I'm pretty sure he likes everything.

[ Isaac is a delicate flower, and the ball is hard, okay. Either way it's already fading, anyway. ]

Well then you can be the next sacrifice. I'm tired of losing socks and shoes. Pretty sure he hides them or something. Takes after you.

The fact he's disappearing your shoes is just a mark against you, anyway. They're fucking shoes, how many places could he put them.

[ Isaac gives a skeptical snort. Like Davesprite doesn't hide things all the time. Isaac isn't an idiot. ]

He doesn't really hide them he just moves them. Under the bed, in the closet, under the table, under some clothes... he's creative, okay?

[The very creative fox retrieves the ball and pounces back onto the bed, tail wagging as he deposits it in Isaac's lap.

Davesprite cocks an eyebrow.]

You're getting outsmarted by the fuzzball favorite. [Because Newton is Davesprite and Isaac's favorite on a ship with a large pet population, lbr.]

[ No, he's not. He throws the ball again to let the little fox bounce after it. How many times has Isaac been stuck doing this in his time aboard the Wonderduck? A lot. ]

[Davesprite takes that as his cue to roll to his feet.]

I'm gonna get something to eat, so keep the foxmander busy.

Don't eat all of the food.

[ If his friend does, he'll be mad. Isaac actually needs sustenance, whereas Davesprite doesn't. That would be a friendship-ending offense. ]
