[She doesn't say that's weirdly nice again but she's thinking about it. She can see why Finn was so attached. It doesn't make it that much easier for her to process or respond to though. There's a pause before she manages a smile.]

It's strange, but my life always is. Guess that makes it my normal. [And most days she could easily and honestly say it's good having the familiar faces around at least, but there's been conflict lately finding out that Erik was a horseman of Apocalypse. Not exactly the thing the victim of Apocalypse's world wants to hear. Mutant drama, amirite?]

Everyone has their own normal. Mine has changed and I think it's changing again. [Living on Jakku had been a relatively simple - if hard - life. Then she had convinced herself to find Master Luke and maybe become a Jedi... Now she is back in space in completely unfamiliar territory and there are legends in this fleet. Rey knows she needs to make the most of it and land on her feet.]

I would for what it's worth. [She doesn't lie about her offers or promises.]

I know we can't leave, our captors seem pretty harmless and not much is expected of me besides...piloting? I think?
