Some have probably been dreading this moment. Kylo Ren is free!

[Option A: Immediately after the shuffle.]

It's probably a good thing all the people he's already pissed off aren't aboard the SS Red Fish. Because thanks to his violent outbursts aboard the Marsiva, Kylo just spent the past week locked in a small supply closet with only a bottle of window cleaner to sustain him. He's starving, dehydrated, exhausted and unless someone catches him, he's hitting the floor along with the confetti...

[Option B: A bit later.]

As soon as he could stand without passing out, Kylo was determined to explore his surroundings. That included the Red Fish (which thanks to his augment, now sported a pantry with food that wasn't protein gel) and anywhere else he could conceivably go.

He'd gotten briefed on the basics. He pulled out his communicator, and turned the audio settings on. "So, who missed me?"

He was actually in the galley when the text came through. So he picked up one of the knives and flashed it in front of the camera.

"It's not as elegant as a lightsaber, but it will have to do!"

"No. Just a reason why I should care." He scoffed. "You turned me down! You more than left your mark, and believe me, I'll return the favor!"

He's your General, isn't he? [Doesn't that mean something? ...knowing what she does about Kylo Ren, likely not.]

Why would I agree to anything you said after you killed Han and hurt Finn?

Kylo laughed. He always was the First Order's best played wildcard.

"Two more people I have unfinished business with. And your little pilot. I know he's here too. And it's only a matter of time until I catch him."

Leave. Them. Alone. [Each word is enunciated with barely controlled fury.] If you want to hunt someone, hunt me.

I'm not afraid of you.

"But they are. All the better." He spat. "Be sure to let your new teacher see that anger and how much power it fuels. They deserve to know how massive a disappointment you'll be!"

...is that what happened to you? [Her anger can rage like an inferno, but it never lasts and lasts. Not like his.]

"I was tired of being held back and lied to!"

His anger was more like a volcano. A constant pool of lava, sometimes prone to violent eruptions that destroy everything in his path.

Who lied to you? Who held you back? [She tries to adopt a calmer tone, focusing on breathing deeply.] I can't understand you.

[She's not sure she wants to, frankly, except... How can someone with powers akin to what she can do fall so far? Maybe by understanding him, she can learn what not to do.]

"Han Solo, General Organa, Skywalker! All of them!" He shouted angrily. "They all hid my legacy from me and tossed me around like a hot potato! But they'll get what they deserve. Just like you and your pathetic friends."

Your father isn't gifted in the Force. How would he know the power you possess? [She can't speak for the last two.] I would rather be "tossed around" by people who loved me than abandoned. Do you know what that's like, Kylo?

"YES!" He screamed at the communicator. He was beyond furious now. "YES, I DO!!"

If it didn't shut the feed off when he slammed it closed, Rey was treated to the sound of said communicator hitting the wall. (Very sturdy pieces of tech. Not easily broken. Thank goodness.)

[She lets out a cry of dismay at his, well, tantrum, grimacing and holding her communication's device further away.]

Why do you have to be such a baby?!

[Did he hear that? She's not sure she wants him to, but must he throw things?]

As far as Kylo Ren knew or cared, that conversation was over. So, It was probably a good thing that he didn't hear it...
