Some have probably been dreading this moment. Kylo Ren is free!

[Option A: Immediately after the shuffle.]

It's probably a good thing all the people he's already pissed off aren't aboard the SS Red Fish. Because thanks to his violent outbursts aboard the Marsiva, Kylo just spent the past week locked in a small supply closet with only a bottle of window cleaner to sustain him. He's starving, dehydrated, exhausted and unless someone catches him, he's hitting the floor along with the confetti...

[Option B: A bit later.]

As soon as he could stand without passing out, Kylo was determined to explore his surroundings. That included the Red Fish (which thanks to his augment, now sported a pantry with food that wasn't protein gel) and anywhere else he could conceivably go.

He'd gotten briefed on the basics. He pulled out his communicator, and turned the audio settings on. "So, who missed me?"

"Mm yes 'space nazi'. Seems to be something from a planet called Earth. The people from there seem to attach more importance to that one planet than we would ever attach to Coruscant," Hux scoffed with annoyance.

"This is a planet which doesn't even have technology capable of going to their own moon though yet they think what happens there is important and applies to anything else. I can't tell you how many times people from this planet like to go on about how just because something worked on Earth that it even remotely applies to galactic affairs."

So it was an insult from a primitive world... One that would no doubt be good target practice for the next super-weapon the General dreamed up. "How has this Earth not been enslaved already?"

Another topic for another time, perhaps. In light of the pilots hour-plus long broadcast during his last day or so in the closet... "What allies have the Resistance scum swayed with their sob stories? How much damage have they done?"

That, to an Enforcer, was crucial intel.

"From the information I've gathered Earth is pretty much on par with the forest moon of Endor before the Empire- without the Ewoks. Cut off and remote from the rest of the galaxy," he said thoughtfully.

"Many, people here are willing to believe any tale of a resistance fighting against an evil empire. But, since they have decided to bring up the term 'nazi' it seemed that some from Earth have decided to lash out because of their own issues. One of them by the name of Erik decided to attack me because I reminded him these nazis and anger about the Hosnian System," Hux said casually, it was done with anyway.

"You should be wary of him until you have your abilities returned- he has the ability of telekinesis similar to as you and the Jedi have."

It seemed Kitty had not lied about there being others with power here.

"When they do return," he dared not say if. "He will be the first I hunt down."

Though Kylo wasn't above socking him in the face like he did the traitor during their last encounter. Anyone who personally attacked the First Order was to be made an example of. And maybe, just maybe, he felt a tiny bit protective of his co-commander, given the circumstances they found themselves in.

"By all means, we have no truce with him," Hux said as he finished scrolling through the files on his datapad before glancing over at Ren. "And it would be satisfying to watch you rip him apart."

Hux preferred not to get his hands dirty but it didn't mean he didn't take pleasure at watching Ren at work sometimes.

"If he threatens you again, I'll return the favor." he insisted. There was loyalty here, even in a distant galaxy. Without the Supreme Leader, General Hux is in command of the First Order, as far as Kylo Ren is concerned.

Although, for the time being, he's still naked in the General's bed. And should probably do something about that.

"What are your orders until I'm able to actually transfer to this ship?"

Hux looked at Ren thoughtfully for a moment before getting off of the bed. He wasn't used to Ren just accepting his orders without some kind of challenge but he would take advantage of it while it lasted.

"Get up, get dressed and return to your ship. Try to avoid confrontations even if it means swallowing your pride and saying I'm forbidding you." He was going to wield his power over Ren however he could though, while he could.

"But most importantly you need to figure out how to use the Force again. Meditate, whatever you have to do," he said with a wave of his hand as he leaned against the opposite wall of the room.

Who was there to challenge him in front of? Whose favor did he have to win? Certainly this was something to enjoy while it lasted, Hux.

Ren slowly climbed out of bed, testing his limbs before putting all his weight on them. He was a little bashful when it came to standing completely naked before Hux. His face flushed, but he passed it off under the guise of just standing up. His clothes, thankfully, had dried on the floor where he discarded them. It took a few minutes just to layer up again.

"I won't attack anyone physically unless they attack me first." He insisted. "But if you expect me to keep quiet, you're out of your mind."

If he tried, people would really get suspicious!

The last instruction came without saying. He doubted he could think of anything else until the problem was solved.

"I don't expect you to keep quiet. If you want to yell and shout I won't stop you." Hux said as he watched Ren get dressed. He didn't really think anything of it as he really didn't have much of a sense of modesty after growing up in a military environment.

"Just keep in mind that any physical confrontations come with the risk that it will be discovered that you can't use the Force. Imagine what will the Resistance and Jedi say if they found out." Hopefully he could appeal to Ren's pride on the matter.

Ren did, apparently, and turned away from Hux as he changed. Granted, he also made it a point to hide himself under a ridiculous amount of layers, so the man wasn't without his quirks.

Hux's appeal made its point. "I will not let that happen."

He could only hope no one had already deduced it from his time on the Marsiva.

"I will be in contact with my progress." He paused before leaving Hux's quarters, lowering his gaze to the floor. "... Do tell Captain Phasma that I am sorry for throwing up on her clothes."

He did mean it. This time.

"I appreciate it." Hux's tone wasn't as harsh as he pushed away from the wall once Ren was dressed once more. A part of him did feel bad for Ren having his ability to use the Force ripped away so suddenly. He felt his own sense of loss being away from Finalizer and losing Starkiller, two things he had put in so many years of his life into.

Now they were gone and he felt as if a part of him was missing in a way he couldn't put into words.

"You know how to contact me if needed or if we need to meet," he said after a moment, breaking the silence between them. "And I'll let you apologize to Phasma and make it up to her."

For once, they were both feeling the same thing, and perhaps, they even recognized that in each other. It was a start.

He nodded again to Hux, and was back on a shuttle to the Red Fish soon after.
