[True to her word, Natasha can be found at the gym on the Iskaulit in the morning. She's already dressed and warmed up. She looks like she means business, but less angry or troubled—not like some of her other recent turns at the gym—but she's serious enough to give someone second thoughts if they weren't entirely sure in the first place.

Her name's Izumi. She taught me and Brother alchemy, alongside martial arts, since she believes a healthy spirit makes its home inside a healthy body. I love her, but she's not someone to mess with. She's one of the most formidable people I know.

[True to her word, Natasha's waiting. She's in the gym and dressed for a workout. Her arms are crossed over her chest when he arrives, a little smile appearing when she spots him.]

[Al smiled back when he got there, also dressed in his workout clothes and flexing.]

Hey. Let's hope I'm not too rusty.

I'd say the idea is to make sure you're not rusty. One way or the other.

[Al began doing some warmup stretches.]

Yeah. I've been trying to keep in physical shape if I can, but that's different from actually sparring against a person. [He grinned.] Especially since a lot of exercise involves playing with a fox.

On the bright side, I'm a bigger target?

[Gently teasing. She holds herself confidently, letting him take his time warming up and getting ready. She was ready to start with, but she got here first.]

True- and you won't bite me if I accidentally step on you. Right?

[And with that, Al approached Natasha, took a fighting stance, and prepared to throw a punch.]

I save biting for real fights.

[Said lightly, clear humor in her voice. She watches him, reading his posture and the punch, prepared for it when it comes with a grab that—if he's not prepared for it—might lead to a throw.]

[It had been forever since Al had sparred with Teacher; even so, she managed to catch him offguard with such a move more often than not, and so, Al soon found himself flat on his back, though he laughed with good humor.]

I was that obvious, huh?

I wouldn't say that. I know what I'm doing, though.

[She smiles, her brows rising in mild surprise at he laughs.]

Seems like you've been here before?

[Al picked himself up and nodded.]

When I said that Teacher was good... she's good. She could fight off Brother and I at the same time. I remember she did it once while reading a recipe book, trying to figure out what to cook for dinner that night. So I ended up on my back a lot.

Sounds like a woman I'd like to meet.

[Her smile is tinged with respect, and also curiosity.]

[He then nodded, taking a fighting stance again.]

I might wake up tomorrow bruised up, but it'll be worth it.
