[How could she not with an invitation like that? This should all be so much stranger, but she's a mutant who has clocked a lot of time in these multi-dimensional abduction sites and it feels almost routine.]

Come out, come out wherever you are. [Phasing her way into one storage space after another to look. Still, not sure what...who she's looking for here? But since they seem to be on the run she doesn't call for backup. Maybe not a threat.]

[Lilly really plans to just evade this mysterious person until they inevitably have to meet — but when the woman speaks up and she peers to try and get a look at her, she is surprised at the feeling she gets in seeing her phasing in the act.

It reminds her of home.]

[Whispered, reverent. A pause.]

Who?

[Well, not mama. But hearing that word softens whatever edge set when looking for the mystery guest. Or mystery crewmate as the case actually is. Kitty looks over her too, seeing the child. Her voice is gentle but clear when she speaks again.]

I'm Kitty. I live here. Who are you?

[Lilly's made it a point to scuttle on all fours to find somewhere to keep safe; she ultimately ends up bent up and curled under a small table, looking up at Kitty from where she's hunched like an animal. At least she doesn't seem terrified? Cautious more than anything.]

... Lilly.

[Kitty crouches down slowly, coming more to her level.]

Hi, Lilly. [There are a lot of questions. She starts with the least pressing because she's a child. She doesn't need to be pressed now.] Are you hungry?

[Is she hungry? Is the sky blue? Yes, yes, and her eyes widen slightly, eagerly.

Her caution is not gone, but she does seem rather interested in the topic of food.

She nods, the slightest of nodding.]

I'll make us something. [She straightens slowly and moves out of the room, assuming Lilly will follow after the nod.] I have some treats better than the space food. [She's always stocking the Windrose up. She leaves some of it in her own room, mostly to save it for Winn or the Tourist crew when she visits, but most of what she collects goes into the pantry for everyone on the Windrose to enjoy. Food was hard to come by on her world and she appreciates the steady supply here even if she doesn't always love the taste. She did manage to get a little spoiled in the prison with it's endless supply of great food. Easy to manage in a virtual reality setting. She was probably actually eating glucose and such.]
