[Having been unconscious for two weeks, when Bigby woke up he had promptly decided to take a couple of days to sleep it off. It's only now, after a shower and some food that he bothers to take to the comm.

He's in the shuttle bay, where his massive bulk fits best.]

I was thinking about starting some kind of immortals evening. Get together. Bitch about how things have changed over the last couple of centuries. Commiserate with others who get the whole 'living for fucking ages' thing, if that's what floats your boat.

Just finding it weird, being surrounded by so many mortals. Fables keep themselves to themselves. No point making friends with mortals for us. Anyone interested?

[ The reminder that he isn't a vampire makes Sascha's stomach flop unhappily, but it's smoothed over by the fact that Bigby mentions them accepting him anyway, that they'll teach him how to fit in.

He rubs his face against Bigby's fur and little more firmly. ]

You don't think they'll...care? What I am?

No.

We have trolls, ogres, dragons, talking animals, children eating witches, fairy princesses... why do you think they'd care about what you are?

[He knows why, but he wants Sascha to really think about how other communities think of him.]

[ It's a hard thing to do. The only community he's used to being aware of hates his entire existence, vampire or not. ]

I dunno... [ he fidgets with a tuft of coarse fur. ] People just always don't want me around.

[bb_wolf]

We're not people.

[Bigby certainly isn't. He just does a good impression after all this time.]

[pneumo]

I--I know... It's just...y'know. [ He's so used to it. It's been ingrained in him since Abe had died. People Hate Vampires. And even vampires don't like him. It's a hard mindset to escape. ]

[bb_wolf]

[Bigby lazily stretches, yawns and flops his front paw over Sascha, smothering him in warm fur.]

[pneumo]

Mmph--! [ Aaaand he's smothered. A little surprised and caught off-guard by it, but very quickly that turns to immense pleasure and his heart thuds happily in his chest, arms curling around the wolf's oversized toes. ]

[bb_wolf]

[Helpfully, Bigby rolls over as if to squish Sascha. He does make sure to tuck Sascha in next to his ribs, under his arm so that while 'squished', he's not being crushed.]

[ Sooo...a cuddle, right? 100% definitely a cuddle ]

[Squishing-not-crushing, definitely not a cuddle Sascha, god. Clearly not a cuddle.

yeah, it's a cuddle]

[ He loves you. It's muffled, tiny, and only Bigby could possibly hear it but. Sascha adores him, and he's so happy Bigby's awake and there with him again. ]

[Bigby wriggles and smooshes Sascha a bit.]

[ Which naturally prompts Sascha to mumble all that over again. He really really likes you, Bigby. Guess how much ]

[Bigby does his best to smother Sascha more.]

[ Well not he's just going to be clinging and all sorts of happy--Bigby will be able to smell that. Sascha's elated and enamoured to the nth degree for the attention he's getting right now.

And he's just...really glad. That he's awake and okay. ]

[bb_wolf]

[A big nose poked down and sniffs at Sascha and then he settles again, apparently settling in to sleep on Sascha.]

[pneumo]

[ He is more than alright with this. Granted it's not even close to a time when Sascha would need to sleep, but since it's with Bigby? He's going to savour ever moment of it and hunker in. Restlessly, but hunkered in all the same. ]

[bb_wolf]

[Bigby isn't actually going to sleep. Even if he is doing a good job of pretending.]

[pneumo]

[ A very good job♥ So good Sascha will try to stop wiggling so much, but really? He just winds up happily working his hands into that impossibly-thick fur to ruffle and scratch and knead. ]
