004 || video;

Who: Korra of the bitty and more temperamental variety
Broadcast: Yes!
Action: Aboard the Winderduck
When: Now!

[Have a miniature version of the Avatar, Fleeters. She is currently throwing a bit of a tantrum, unfortunately. Sorry Wonderduckians you get to deal with that...]

Where is this place?! I want to go home now!!

[And then she belts out her best child-like scream as the sound of something metallic ripping and bending can be heard, the door to her bedroom coming loose from the wall and bending grotesquely behind her.]

I want to go home! I want to go home now!

[Still panicking, there are a fresh wave of tears streaming down her face. Looking up, she realizes what she's done and there's a bit of a stoney silence that follows for a solid minute or so as the video continues to record her.]

Please don't get mad... I didn't mean to bend the door... it-it was an accident!

[She looks into the device, eyes wide with worry.]

Could someone fix it...? I'm really sorry.

[ooc: Korra's augment is glitched! Basically if you have previous CR with her it might take some prompting and she might bend a bit here and there accidentally but if you are on the Wonderduck and want to check on her feel free to do so!]

[What the fuck, this is hilarious.]

Careful, someone might get upset and want to put you in a time out

[Oh. The screaming gets his attention first, but it's the warping of the door that holds it. There's something about that kind of distress that strikes a chord in him... both from his own experiences with power, and from the girl's tears. It nearly makes him want to put down the communicator and forget he saw it. But he can't.

He flicks on the video and addresses Korra calmly.]

I can fix the door for you. Are you all right?

[What the actual skidoosh is happening here? Why is this happening? What is his life? ]

...Korra?

[It had only been a little while since they last talked, and that conversation had been on a rather morbid topic. Fortunately, Wanda was starting to do better and was starting to feel more social-able again. Yet, she definitely was not expecting what she saw play out on the communicator screen.]

[While the metal-bending was impressive in and of itself--she'd only seen Erik do something similar prior, it was the little girl who looked ever so familiar that caught her attention chiefly.]

Korra?

[That was quite a sound, the sound of metal tearing down the hallway. Certainly not a normal noise on the ship. Nor was the sound of a child's voice (at least not for awhile). Heading out to find the source of it, assuming they were safe since they weren't getting pulled out into space by a sudden hole appearing in the ship, Remy paused at the mini-Korra that came into view.]

Korra? [Oh, great, an augment mix up. But Remy plastered a smile on, not wanting to make her any more upset than she was, and also moving to crouch so he wasn't looming over her.] Hey, petite, what's wrong? [You know, other than the obvious.]

[Ohhh no, he can't handle a crying child. Actually, no, he can, he's had practice thanks to his siblings, but that was years ago. What did he do to cheer them up...?

Well, he has one idea.

When the screen winks on, it's not a person's face that appears there, but instead a sock. It's clean, though clearly worn, and positioned just so on his hand to appear to have a mouth. Two dabs of some gel have been applied to the top looking maybe lie eyes if you happen to turn your head sideways and squint and a small mess of a few feathers stick out at odd angles, glued to be some semblance of very strange hair (Anders won't miss just a few...).]

Hi!

[Wolfe moves the sock puppet's mouth, putting his voice into a higher register with a sort of scratch to it in order to make the character.]

I'm the cheer up sock dragon!

[It looks absolutely nothing like a dragon. Or any other living creature.]

[Oh my god, everyone keeps turning into children.]

Door and the abrupt miniaturization thing aside, how badly do you need adult supervision. Is there already an adult there supervising you? Please say yes. [And then, almost inaudibly:] What am I saying, she just bent a door in half, fuck yeah she needs supervision.

[So . . . their pilot has joined the increasing number of fleet members turning into small children. And has just magically crumpled a metal door through maybe the power of her raw, tiny outrage.

That. That is definitely a thing.

It's a thing that has Eugene waiting a few hours before poking his nose into the area - both because he knows that even the metal leg he's walking around on isn't nearly as sturdy as the ship's doors, and because he imagines that she might be getting hungry enough that he can be something marginally better than Another Weird Adult. He gives the doorframe a light knock, peering in cautiously.]

Hey, uh. Cook checking in. Can I get you a snack or anything?
