That's so weird... [ She hums thoughtfully. She's still not sure she'd take anything, domesticated or not, unless it was an emergency... besides, even though Apollo's on a different ship, he'd flip out, she's sure of it. His screeching would surely pierce space itself. ]

They're really that big?! That's so cool! Our mice are tiny too! Wow, that's really cool! Hey, if they have deer in here, I wonder how huge they'd be? Or uh, if they'd eat us...

A couple minutes later Apollo's running outside, looking around for the magician, and then slumping over, trying to catch his breath. HUFF....]

[ he gestures at some point in front of them, at thin air, as if something is there, a kind of force he can sense but not explain. it's not buzzing, not to him, it's just there - something that he's not yet sure how to define. ]

There was something. Some sort of energy. I don't know - where it came from. Maybe it's here somewhere in the planet, maybe we needed it just to be here.

But I know there was something and not knowing what it is or where it came from seriously freaks me out.

Peaceful and ominous. Just looking at an overview it looks like anyone could easily get lost in that place.

[ still shaken by it all, he still sticks to the scientist in him, the one who knows everything can be explained with enough logic and enough brainstorming and there are few better brainstorming buddies than the ultimate pride of the fleet (at least in cisco's opinion), leto who basically knows everything there is to know about everything. ]

He's faster than she anticipated though, and her smile widens as she happily throws her arms around him when he's close enough. ]

[AHA. He hears that voice!! Clay follows it towards where he suspected Apollo was in the first place, and - YEP. THERE HE IS.

Clay gives a grin from down the hall, looking just a bit too devious, then starts to come closer with his hands raised, the signal that he'll be picking up Apollo once he's close enough.]

Sure it is! You've been cooped up in these walls for long enough; you need some fresh air and sunshine to get yourself going!

[ there is a softer smile, here. accepting the banter but also the unspoken truths present here. shoulder to shoulder, they walk through the forest, as casual as if this were a boulevard in some grand city. ]

Bumped into someone or some thing. . .[Another grumpy snort, and he crosses his arms, but he's making no move to go back now. He leans forward, judging the edge of the forest.]

I have faith that you'd try stuffing anything out there into your hat, yeah. But it's still dangerous. . .so I guess I'm going to supervise.

Okay - we can start measuring. Whatever we got, aim it at the planet, and see if anything spikes, try to pinpoint what kinda energy we're dealing with.

[ he knows he can say comforting words from here to next week, but nothing he says would be nearly as helpful as an answer, scary as it may be. and he plans on being there with cisco every step of the way, so he'll never have to face whatever the answer is alone. ]
