[Gemini's been exploring this forest ever since her shuttle landed, flying over the trees as a bird at first and then slipping into a four-legged form to see the native flora and fauna up close. She came across the deer a little while before and became one, trying to convince the others that she belonged. They could smell that she didn't, her rubber scent making them skittish, although by the time the stranger appears they'd calmed a little and she joined them in shying away at first.
