[when the feed opens, the network is gifted with the bickering of two men]

I don't see why you can't do this.

[Erik is the one visible on screen, and he doesn’t look pleased about it at all. He jerks his chin towards the wall next to him, irritated.]

Because it’s your idea, and I don’t want to.

[the huff that follows is a little on the growly side]

I’m here to open paths, not send out messages. [As if to punctuate this point, Erik turns away from the camera and swipes his hand through the air. The metal wall crumples to the side with a shriek, curling up on itself like a ringpull.

The camera shifts off of Erik with a muttered "show off" to the plant life spilling out of the side of the hull, and a clawed, blue foot comes into frame to poke at a nearby pumpkin]

In any case - Erik and I are at the crashed ship, if anyone would like us to bring some of these back. If you're interested, feel free to message one of us.

As for the ship - if anyone else is planning to come out here, be careful. There's ways into the ship, but it has been here a while, so it's falling apart. We'll try to get some information about the signal while we're here, though so far we haven't had much luck.

[the camera moves back to Erik]

[Erik’s mostly occupied with pointing his flashlight into the gloom of the area beyond the wall. He does give a curt response.]

No requests for pumpkins bigger than the usual Earth-size.

[he nods and shrugs, glancing behind him at the ship]

I wanted to find the signal. And we're going to see what else we can find while we're here.

Looks like you brought the right help along for the job. I'm jealous.

[She flashes a quick smile.]

Any luck? I mean, if I can't get a giant pumpkin you could make it up to me by finding some clues.

[he grins briefly, fangs showing] Erik is good at what he does.

So far no, but we're going to take a look inside now that we have a better way in. [he tilts his head back to the camera] I'll send you what we find.

I'd appreciate it. I don't trust just about any of this.

[he huffs out an amused noise]

Neither do I. Especially not when there's people saying they hear voices on top of this.

The whole place seems like a ghost story.

Mm, something like that. [he glances over at the ship] Abandoned distress signal in the middle of a strange planet? I'm pretty sure they've already made that movie.

It does seem a little familiar, don't it.

[Like the plot of Alien.]

Hopefully this one doesn't end the same way.

[he makes a face. He's thinking Alien, too]

Hopefully. We haven't run into anything, at least. We've heard animals, but haven't really seen many.

Giant mice. Birds. Some monkeys in the distance, but nothing too close.

But yeah, nothing related. I doubt we'll find anything inside, either. It sounds pretty quiet in there.

It isn't morbid, it's something you'd expect to find. Remains, at the very least.

Either way, I'm bringing back samples. You're welcome to that data as well.

Not everyone is so eager to know where the corpses are.

Well, I don't disagree with that, even if it is. I'd rather look and not find anything than miss something important.
