I don't see why you can't do this.

[Erik is the one visible on screen, and he doesn’t look pleased about it at all. He jerks his chin towards the wall next to him, irritated.]

Because it’s your idea, and I don’t want to.

[the huff that follows is a little on the growly side]

I’m here to open paths, not send out messages. [As if to punctuate this point, Erik turns away from the camera and swipes his hand through the air. The metal wall crumples to the side with a shriek, curling up on itself like a ringpull.

The camera shifts off of Erik with a muttered "show off" to the plant life spilling out of the side of the hull, and a clawed, blue foot comes into frame to poke at a nearby pumpkin]

In any case - Erik and I are at the crashed ship, if anyone would like us to bring some of these back. If you're interested, feel free to message one of us.

As for the ship - if anyone else is planning to come out here, be careful. There's ways into the ship, but it has been here a while, so it's falling apart. We'll try to get some information about the signal while we're here, though so far we haven't had much luck.

[the camera moves back to Erik]

[Erik’s mostly occupied with pointing his flashlight into the gloom of the area beyond the wall. He does give a curt response.]

No requests for pumpkins bigger than the usual Earth-size.

If you run into any fairy godmothers, you'll have to let me know. In the mean time... You seem like a pretty handy person to know if you're interested in getting around the wreck.

[He inclines his head a bit, acknowledging the comment. The fact that Hank has broadcast him using his powers is hard to ignore. While Erik isn't reticent about using them, so far it hasn't been on such public display.]

I can certainly get through any doors or corridors that aren't cooperating. The size of this place is still something to contend with, no matter who's visiting.

No argument about that. Overcoming that's going to take time and manpower.

Still. [No argument there.] Time may not be something we have in abundance, knowing our hosts.

True. Though letting us make some progress might make for better entertainment, if you believe they're interested in that sort of thing.

I don't believe much of anything we're told. And I'm not well known for my entertainment value.

[The idea of constantly being watched gets under his skin in ways he'd rather not think about.] But, they're relatively consistent with how long we stay in each place.

I'll bow to your experience on that. [Natasha isn't here to advance any particular theory. One way or the other, though, she feels confident that as long as they're here, it'll be long enough to advance the "plot" as it were.]

I guess we'll just have to see what we find before then.

Well, so far, a lot of pumpkins and outlandishly sized animals.

[Natasha lifts one shoulder in a half shrug, her head tipping just slightly.]

Those would be the most obvious. And maybe that'll be all there is.

[She clears her throat at that.]

Yes, I would call that the number one reason I have a hard time believing there's not more to this.

[He smiles faintly for a moment, before switching his flashlight on and pointing it back through the hole he'd opened up.]</small It's going to take a while to get to anything of interest, I would think.

Unless we're very, very lucky. I don't count on luck... But there's a lot of folks looking.

Yes. All with different skills and perspectives. [His own is well-suited to a hulking wreck of metal. He can already pick out the scale of the ship, compare it with what he knows of the Marsiva.]

Though the presence of fruit and vegetables out here isn't unwelcome either.

[His lips quirk slightly.] Opportunities shouldn't be passed up. The waystations aren't particularly forthcoming with food supplies either.

Don't blame them. Hard to share when you don't enough to go around yourself.

Maybe not for that. [He can blame them for certain other activities with no problem.]

[He shrugs, finally.] Any requests?

Since you're offering... not so interested in pumpkins, but if you should happen to find some apples...?

Apples. [He nods.] I'll keep an eye out.

[He nearly moves to shut off the feed, before thinking of something that will probably be of use if he actually does find apples.
