🌹005 | TEXT
I ought to confess.
This little planet does unsettle me so and why, I cannot explain.
And yet, I have spent far too many days inside and so -
I do very dearly wish for an escort for a short walk outside.
Mayhaps I shall learn to love it, despite it all, we ought not insist on being unhappy, after all.

but this one is excitable and sweet, a reminder of highgarden and her many cousins. she chooses another gown, one of her better ones, makes certain her hair and perfume are refreshed, and heads out to the Golden.
her gown is a deep emerald, a reminder of home, of the tyrell banner and when she spots her company, she smiles, brilliant and sweet. ]
Well I was never told the Crag is hiding such beautiful ladies.
[ informal, she is; no curtsy, or bow, she simply takes her arm in her own. ]

There had been stories about Lady Margaery Tyrell and her beauty. She was near Jeyne's age, but had acquired a reputation for kindness and generosity. It was humbling to meet such a figure on this ship, especially one so high above her in rank and standing.]
Lady Margaery...[her words are enough to make Jeyne blush. Before she can even dip into a curtsy, Margaery's arm links with her own.] I meant 'Margaery'. Gods, it's a bit difficult to forget the formalities.
I heard so many accounts about your beauty. I think that you surpass them.

[ she does smile at the compliment ]
You are terribly sweet. Come, tell me everything, I want to know of your crew, have they been welcoming?
Re: action »
[In so many ways.]
So far they have been wonderfully kind. Everyone has been kind. I haven't had the chance to speak with them overlong or to explore very much. This has been a rather rough adjustment.
How long have you been in this place?

[ a wink ]
You shall have to keep my secret if you shall ever meet him.

I may transfer ships as well. My husband is on the Blue Fish, as is his family, and I should be with him.
[Once he wakes.]
Are you happy in this place?

[ she brightens at once ]
A reunion in space - you must tell me everything.
[ at the very least someone has good news. ]
Most days I am as happy as one can be, given the circumstances.

[There's a smile, but a slightly pained one.]
He's asleep and apparently has been in that sleep for near a month now. You may know him. Robb Stark?
[It could be better news. At least Margaery was able to find cheer in this world. That was enough to let Jeyne hope that things would improve with time.]
They haven't been cruel to you, my lady? These Atroma, I mean.

[ she nods her head. she makes it her business to acknowlege just about any king and queen aboard the fleet. The politics of home can stay at home; here, she wishes to avoid trouble.
They are all working towards the same goal, after all ]
He was very kind to me, his sister, Sansa, is a dear friend.
[ and then, she shakes her head. ]
No; they are unexpected and full of whims, but not cruel.

Has he? He has always been very respectful and kind to ladies, though there are many that have met him here that have said he was "brooding".
I had the chance to meet Sansa not so long ago. I never met her until now. Perhaps you could help me with something?

[ or perhaps, everything is charming to margaery. she insists on finding charm in the smallest, oddest things. ]
Be of assistance to a charming lady? I do hope so. What do you need, sweetling?
action »
The marked favor that Margaery offers her fills Jeyne with pride. This woman was a true queen, bearing majesty in every move she made. She wasn't simply playing at it, as Jeyne often felt she was.]
I should very much appreciate some advice in how to please Sansa. I had thought of giving her a gift, but I'm not certain what I could offer her. I wish to be her friend.

Lady Sansa appreciates three things above all, companionship, honesty and lemon cakes. The third should be easier for us to find and after you gift her those, you may offer her the other two.

Her walls are quite high, though I suppose that isn't a surprise. Robb's were the same. [It must be a family trait.] Thank you for your help.
