[It's been a rough month so he's decided to keep busy with various projects after Barriss and Phasma left so suddenly. There have been various ship parts left outside his door over the last few weeks to keep him occupied lately at least. Late at night he's often at the table in the kitchen with them, drawing out diagrams and making notes as he inspects the parts.

Want to find him somewhere else? He still goes down to the cargo hold for a run on the treadmill in the morning or is up in the middle of the night around the ship as he's still unable to sleep for long periods of time at a time.

Other times he's at the bridge, idly playing with the bouncy ball he painted to look like the Death Star for the Halloween party as he works on improvements he wants to make to the weapon system if he had a chance. At least it keeps him busy.]

[ It's not long after he wakes up and starts moving around again that he happens to come across Hux. He's doing his rounds, and spots him in the halls. It's got to be three or four in the morning, but most of the crew keeps odd hours.

Things didn't go so great the last time they talked, but he doesn't want a fight right now. All Bucky wants is to get up to speed with his crew, even the ones he doesn't see eye-to-eye with. ]

[Hux frowned when he saw Bucky, he remembered their last talk clearly. But the ship was only so big and he really wasn't inclined to start hiding from anyone.

He shifted the cup of tea in his hand, raising his eyebrows.]

Is there something I can help you with?

It's a possibility.

[ He doesn't hold stock in whether Hux will actually do it. If he doesn't, it's not like there aren't other sources. Bucky leans against the wall, leaving him enough room to walk by if he chooses to. ]

Has anything notable happened in the last month, in your opinion?

[Hux didn't answer right away, looking at Bucky thoughtfully. Now that he had thought about it, he hadn't seen the captain some time before now. Then again, last month had been rather strange to begin with, he really hadn't been keeping track of anyone during the glitch.]

Depends on what you define as 'notable'. We've arrived in another system, if that's what you mean. There really isn't much of note, however, unless you like forests or scavenging for old ship parts.

Anything you feel needs to be addressed regarding this crew or the planet. [ He pauses. ]

I think I remember the SOS signal, but nothing else.

No, nothing I can think of. I can't speak on behalf of the other crew though. [Hux remembered Rey had included some information in one of her notes about an 'eerie presence' on the planet but he figured Bucky could figure that out by himself.

Hopefully. Either way, he didn't put much consideration into such things.]

I know some people have been exploring the wreckage on the planet but I'm not sure what they've been able to find aside from useless parts and scrap.

I'm sure it will come together eventually. It has before.

[ Hell, even he feels that eerie little notion sitting in the back of his head like a whisper. ]

I would be interested in learning when- or if- it does. But, I am wary of assuming we will ever get the full picture on anything here.

It will either happen while we're here, or when we're leaving and can't do anything about it. This time feels different, though.

[He knew he hadn't been here as long as some others but he was curious enough to want to piece things together the best he could.]

Were you here for the polluted moon?

[ Because honestly he can't remember ~~and neither can mun~~. ]

No, I don't believe I was. At least, not in this galaxy.

Alright. There was this moon that was so polluted that no one could go outside without an oxygen mask. There weren't many resources because the community that lived there had harvested it until it was a husk. There was a group from the fleet that tried to help terraform the planet so that it could thrive again.

We happened to, luckily, have an element that a reactor at the moon's core that had potential to save it.

The Fleet ended up leaving before we saw it through to the end. Learned in a transmission that it didn't help. It's going to be completely unlivable in the near future.

I suppose the efforts to attempt to save the moon made for a dramatic episode for the Atroma at least.

I'm sure it did.
