text / action on the Blue Fish
Who: Robb & you!
Broadcast: to all
Action: to all / people who are on the Blue Fish
When: 2nd of November
Network/text
My name is Robb Stark.
I wish to know if those who know me are still here.
You have my thanks.
On the Blue Fish
[After waking up Robb does not stay inside his bed for long. He can be seen walking towards the showers, followed by a trip towards the kitchen because he is hungry enough that he can eat an entire horse. He is also thirsty enough that he can drink an entire river.
After that he goes to visit his siblings to check up on them, knocking their doors to see if they are still on this ship.
He has a hammering headache and finds it difficult to determine how he feels. From the second he woke up until now it feels as if he has been slammed into a wall. He had not expected his lady wife to be here all of a sudden and he is somehow scared to hope for some sort of future together here.
After eating he can be found inside the weaponry, doing his duty as if nothing has really changed. As if he isn’t anything else but a corpse back home while lord Bolton’s bloody words keep echoing in the back of his mind.]

action
[She nods, going to make a sandwich for him as she listens. Good, so he and Jeyne have reunited.]
You both are lucky. Maker, I hate the Atroma, I do, but in situations like this, it's hard not to be grateful to them for it. She must have been thrilled to see you wake up.
action
[He shifts as he sits. Yeah, definitely a wooden arse.]
I must be honest, it has been a bit of a rough reunion. [Slowly he leans forward and rests his arms on the table.] I am not grateful to them. This is nothing but a game. And it is nothing but...only the gods know what they will do to her.
[Because yes, Robb is relieved and happy to have Jeyne next to him, but he remains wary of Atroma's intentions.]
action
[How Jeyne copes here remains to be seen, though she seems strong.]
Take what chances you can get Robb. [You of all people should understand that.]
action
[Still, it’s better than Westeros...]
I should focus on a future here, yes. [And it still feels strange to him and a big part of him wants to remain stubborn and not allow himself to think about such things.] How strange it may be. [He pauses.] Yet, it is good to know I have friends here.
action
That isn't what I meant! [Way to go straight for the gutter, Robb.] Good Maker, Robb! [At least she's laughing and isn't seriously perturbed. Given who she used to travel with, she's used to it.] I suppose I'm glad to hear your love life is still quite healthy, despite everything.
[She goes back to making him a sandwich.]
You have plenty of friends here. And while being kidnapped isn't great, it could be worse. At least you get to travel?
action
Let us just...forget about that. [He shakes his head and makes an awkward gesture with his hand. Maybe she would've known already, they have been loud.] Heh...I...it always have been...
[Her words sound soothing to his ears. He does have friends here. People who care for him, who are honorable and kind, despite being modern and difficult to understand.]
It was a trip I did not want to make, I must say. [Robb gazes at the table while saying that.] I must say that I am relieved I am here now.
action
I'm glad you're here, too. With your wife and siblings. It felt odd around here without you up and about.
[She finishes his sandwich and brings it over on a plate to him, setting it in front of him. She takes a seat next to him.]
I suppose all you have to do now is decide what to do with the time you've been given here.
action
So he laughs softly.]
It is a better place than where I come from, that is for sure. [And maybe it was just that. A second chance he should hold on to without thinking of all that is left behind. His siblings are here, his lady wife, he has friends.] It is odd to be here again, I must say.
[The sight of the sandwich makes his stomach rumble and the moment she puts it down he picks it up again to take a large bite out of it.]
Hmn... [He chews quickly.] Probably...go for that second chance...not? [Forget about his war and the crown he once wore.] It would be the wisest thing to do.
action
Yes. You can't do anything about what is going to happen at home, but you can control what happens here. What do you have to lose?
action
[His mouth is half-full when he speaks.]
We are being controlled. Whether we like it or not. [There's a thoughtful expression on his face.] But maybe I could find some sort of happiness. [Or more, dare to. It has been a long time ago since Robb Stark has been truly happy. Not while everything seemed to seep through his fingers like sand.]
My lady wife is here. Friends who would not betray me.
[Still, it would be difficult to ignore the fact that they could be taken away any second.]
no subject
[And that's what matters.]
However long it may be, you have time here. Make it count. Do something wild. Be spontaneous. Say what you want to say. You're not King in the North here. You're just Robb Stark, and that's not a bad thing.
no subject
[A really crimson color creeps up from his neck to his cheeks when he thinks about what he did with his wife. The idea they might have had company makes him feel very uneasy.]
You have to keep that in mind when you speak of anything...when you do...certain things.
[Her last comment makes him smile. He had always seen it as his duty to be king and it was of great importance to be a good king as well. But here his crown doesn’t matter.
He is just Robb.]
At times...he seems lost to me. [He sits back in his chair.] But the gods have given me the time to...find him again, I think. [Because Robb had to grow up really fast and quite sudden. It is bloody hard to leave all of that behind.]
no subject
[She smiles softly and gently grips his shoulder.]
Anything lost can always be found, with a little effort. And I do not think he is so far lost as you think.
no subject
He wanted to return to Winterfell and he wanted to be able to hold his children and be a father. He wanted peace and independence for the North. And no no way in seven hells that the lords of Atroma would allow him to have a child here. And the North was back home.
He crosses his arms.]
I am afraid this world cannot give me what I truly want. And I would not dive down a cliff, that would be foolish. [Finally he cocks his head a little.] Is that what modern people do? Dive off of cliffs? I take it...with all the modern devices they grow bored and lazy. [Because everything gets done for them.]
I fear he is. [There is a hint of warmth in his smile when she takes hold of his shoulder.] I alienated Bran from me and now he is gone. [It makes him sad. To be faced with the consequences of his crown and the way it changed him is a hard and difficult thing.]
It is confusing at times.
no subject
[Right, his falling out with Bran. She sighs softly.]
Sansa mentioned that, though she hardly knew what happened. I take it you two had a disagreement?
no subject
I have died once, I have no wish to die again. But it gives me time to prioritize having fun, I take. [Robb actually has to think about that. What is having fun? When is he truly having fun? He wishes he could ride a horse again and hunt together with Grey Wind. Enjoy the presence of his siblings and loved ones without thinking about losing them.] Even though I am afraid that riding a horse inside this ship would be rather difficult.
We had multiple ones. It comes down on him not trusting me. [Because he is a king, because he cannot allow Bran and his warging.] Too many time has passed...we both changed.
Mayhaps I have changed a bit more. Not for the good.
[It is difficult to say this. To reflect on himself like that. He had always thought to be able to balance out being a king and being Robb. But it simply wasn't.]
