[She stumbled back as the goo splattered in her face, sputtering and flinching away. It was only when she saw that the liquid seemed to be moving around her that Jeyne screeched, jumping as far away as she could.

Shaking her, she rubbed her face and hair, hoping to get any remaining liquid off of her.]
