[Open]
Who: Gemini & Open
Broadcast: Nope
Action: On various ships
When: November 5th-Until fleet departs Lagan system.
[Besides the Bishop, Gemini's mostly kept to the waystations and the planet surface while the fleet coasts through the Lagan system, but after the Halloween party she's curious about some of the people she'd met and decides to explore some of the other ships...without their crew's knowledge.
Shuttles are always moving between ships, carrying passengers and items and it's not difficult for her to slip on board, disguising herself as an extra purchase from the waystation or whatever object that will get her onboard without being noticed. Once there she slips into the ducts, watching and waiting until most of the crew are asleep before emerging and taking human form to explore.]
A) Intruder
[Despite appearing to wear boots, Gemini's feet barely make a sound as she walks down the central corridor toward the bridge, striding confidently toward the bridge to access the ship's database.]
B) Crewmate [*see below]
[The cargo bay is dark, but it looks like there's a female figure looking through the storage compartments, but when the light clicks on it's just a crewmate that's blinking back at you a little sheepishly in the sudden bright glare.]
Hey what're you doing up this late?
C) Wildcard
[Noticed anything unusual on your ship? Strange sounds coming from the air ducts, get the sensation you're being watched or happen to see something or someone changing shape?]
[*Please pm me first before choosing this option so that I can find a player willing to have their character impersonated.]

The lights aren't on other than the ones set in place for when the pilot isn't actively piloting and whatever other flashing displays there are, but Lark is perfectly at home in the pitch black of the rest of the room. After all, elves could see just fine in the dark.
It's her rogue training that kicks in and alerts her to the intruder, but not until they're practically on top of her as they enter the bridge. Someone else who could walk quietly as she could, then. Interesting. Glowing green eyes flick to the woman with an intense interest.]
Who are you?
[Honestly, for all Lark knew, she was meant to be on this ship, it wasn't like the elf had discovered every person she now worked with...or bothered to remember their faces yet.]
no subject
None of your business.
[Her arm is already whipping out, the hand on the end of it swelling to three times its normal size to try and grab the Elf.]
no subject
You've made it my business now.
What do you want?
no subject
until the other gives her an opening to knock her unconscious.]You're a teleporter aren't you? Useful skill. [Lark gets a little smirk in response to her question that says she's not telling.
no subject
[Her gaze doesn't waver from the intruder and she doesn't offer any further explanation to what the blood magic had given her.]
If you were simply curious about this ship, I would bid you welcome, but you speak like a snake and I can only assume you wish the people on this ship harm.
no subject
[Gemini didn't believe that denial for an instant, and now she's advancing slowly on Lark, her posture distinctly menacing to go with her silkily dangerous tone.]
A snake? That's hardly a way to welcome a visitor now is it?
A
[He usually didn't sleep through the night and the bridge of the ship was where he felt more comfortable which was where he was when he heard the noise behind him. He looked up from his datapad, glancing over his shoulder at her.
Hux didn't keep track of the crew who came or went on Heron. While he didn't avoid any of the crew, there were good reasons why he didn't seek them out either. It wouldn't be unlikely that she was a new member of the crew he just hadn't met before so he wasn't concerned when he didn't recognize her.
The ship didn't seem to have anything special in terms of information or improvements so he doubted there was anything significant to hide and he wasn't going to look after anyone else's interests if they left things laying around openly.]
Re: A
But it has been awhile since she's had the opportunity to play, and perhaps this sharp eyed human might be worth fencing with. So she steps in, and moves over to one of the control panels, sparing him a single cold smile and glance.]
Then perhaps you haven't been watching closely enough.
no subject
[He switched the datapad off, glancing over at her with curiosity. He had nothing better to do anyway.]
So why are you here then? I'm sure there is a reason you've come on the bridge when it's likely most people are asleep.
no subject
[She's accessing the crew manifest, glancing back at him with a coy smirk and answering his question with one of her own.]
You seem smart, why do you think I'm here?
no subject
You're after something. Or are you simply looking to see what you can find? In that case, I think there is a good chance you may be disappointed. This ship doesn't really have much to offer but who knows, you may be lucky.
[Not that he was trying to discourage her or stop her. There might be something interesting around someone left out in the open. That was their problem, though, not his.]
no subject
[He's hit the nail pretty much on the head there, although her own eyebrow goes up in response as she realised he didn't seem to care what she did. What a delightfully refreshing attitude.]
You really don't care about any of the other meatsacks on this ship?
no subject
[He had no loyalty to those who he was merely assigned to share space with, especially since they had proven to be entirely controlled by their emotions instead of rational thought, in his view.]
no subject
[Unless she could provide some fleeting entertainment, but that's beside the point.]
What makes you so different from them?
no subject
[In the end, he had simply been assigned to share space with them. Hux wasn't the kind of feel loyalty to anyone- it seemed so petty compared to his dedication and loyalty to his vision for the galaxy..]
They seem to live their lives at the mercy of their own emotions and irrational impulses. They have impractical, idealistic but foolish points of view of the world around them which would be amusing if I didn't have to constantly hear about it.
no subject
There's nothing more insufferable than an idealistic fool. My crew are lucky that the Augment stops me from killing them in their sleep.

C - The Golden
Glancing around for someone that might know better how to fix something (if there was a leak or error), Jeyne approached hesitantly, at least determined to get a better look at things. She peered over the goo, not wishing to touch it with her fingers. With a measure of disgust, she stood on her tip toes, peeking up towards the ducts.]
What is that?
no subject
She's so concerned with getting out of the duct that it takes her a moment to realise she's landed on someone rather than something, the mass beginning to move and condense around Jeyne in a way that's very much alive.]
no subject
Shaking her, she rubbed her face and hair, hoping to get any remaining liquid off of her.]
no subject
Whoever you are, that was really bad timing.
no subject
As it's head emerges, she feels her legs grow weak, threatening to drop her to the ground.]
What are you?
no subject
She laughs cruelly as Jeyne's legs wobble, forcefully holding her up and shaking her vigorously for a moment to ensure she doesn't lose consciousness.]
I'm whatever I want to be. You and I, dear are going to need to have a little talk.
no subject
This is how I die. A strange place in a strange universe with a monster crushing me.
She screwed her courage, summoning what strength she could to stare back at the woman.]
What do you want.
no subject
Hmm that is a good question isn't it? What do I want? Let's start with who you are and we'll work out what I'll do with you.
no subject
Maggy. [She lied, using the name of her great grandmother.] My name is Maggy.
