Who: Kurt Darkholme
Broadcast: None
Action: Fleet-wide
When: Nov. 11th, afternoon onward
On the afternoon of his 31st birthday, Kurt Darkholme opens his eyes just as he has any other day. The similarities to the days before it end there; instead of a battle-worn 30 year old, the person that sits bolt upright appears for all the world to be a teenage boy. Though still covered in blue fur and possessing the unique physical make-up of the elder Kurt Darkholme, the glaring red mark that covers a good portion of his face is just as conspicuously missing. In addition, the boy looks terrified at waking in a strange place.
"Eri--" His voice squeaks before Kurt shuts his jaw with an audible click, grimacing at his own stupidity. Magneto would have his hide for making noise in enemy territory. Still cringing at the thought, Kurt throws the covers off and goes about the business of searching the room he's woken up in.
Windrose - Armory
The first place Kurt comes across after sneaking out of the bedroom he woke in is the armory. Seeing the automatic weapons brings a brief smile to his face, and the boy teleports for a closer look. Surely there has to be something that will fit his hands (even if they are starting toward the broadness of his adult counterpart's.) He's distracted enough by the possibility of being armed, and therefore safer, that he doesn't properly check the room first.
Windrose - Cargo Bay
Regardless of his success in obtaining a weapon from the armory, Kurt's next move is to get the hell out of Dodge. The mutant boy is scuttling along the ceiling, featureless eyes darting around in anticipation of an ambush, when he catches sight of the rather unusual modifications. It's enough out of place that he freezes, eyebrows drawing together in confusion.
"What the--," the boy whispers to himself in his native language.
Everywhere else *
After getting off the Windrose, Kurt's next move is to regroup with the rest of the X-Men. To this end he pilots his shuttle (and it's unnerving that he knows how, but he's going to hope the knowledge is a present from Jean and not worry about it right now) to the various ships and sneaks aboard. Much like his actual first days in the Fleet, Kurt keeps to the ceiling as he skitters throughout the various ships, looking for any familiar faces.
Or more weapons.
Wildcard
Yeah y'all know what this option is.
*Kurt will give the Interfaith center a wider berth than usual. While characters are welcome to try getting him inside, he will react with violence and terror.

The claim of being an X-Man narrows those eyes, the fear in them muting to scorn. "You're lying. I know all the X-Men, and you're not one of them. Who are you really?" And how does she know his name?
no subject
Maybe bringing up Sabertooth isn't the best of ideas given the history. But she's still not even sure it's her Kurt with her Kurt's history. Glitch or new arrival?
There should a buzzfeed test for these things.no subject
Buzzfeed has failed us.Maybe not the best idea; when she mentions Sabertooth his expression twists and then hardens, anger flaring in his eyes. His aim shifts from the smaller target of her head down toward her chest, drifting over her heart.
"Don't talk to me about Sabertooth. Don't you dare."

"Kurt." Voice gentle. "I'm not your enemy. I know this is confusing, and you don't remember me, but you're my friend and my teammate and I'm going to help you. Do I have to do it with a gun pointed at me?"
no subject
But the gun in his hand is steady, anger twisting his features into something bitter and resolute. His hands are steady and so is the tail that flicks behind him, raising from around his ankles. "You have five seconds to tell me what you know." More like three.
no subject
"We were abducted by an alien race called The Atroma for their entertainment. They pull people from alternate realities, different times, and different worlds together and put them on these ships."
no subject
Also perhaps she read War of the Worlds too many times. His expression twists in pity, but Kurt keeps the side-arm aimed right over her heart. Just because she's crazy doesn't mean she's harmless.

She looks down at the gauntlets on her forearms. "Erik made these for me." Tapping one with her finger.
no subject
His chin dips with his line of sight when she taps the gauntlets. "W-what do they do?" Because if Erik made them, they have to have all kinds of tricks built in. And then, a second later with a surge of hope he tries badly to hide, "Is he here?!"
no subject
"Retractable claws like Logan's. Well, not exactly like Logan's but they get the job done."
It hurts her heart when he asks if Erik is here. She wants to say no. To shield him from the man who betrayed them without ever remembering them. But there could be benefits too. He might listen to Erik in ways he won't accept her even if he is changed from what he remembers. But does she trust him with that responsibility? Would he even trust himself? She does what she does all too often and simply goes with the truth at least some of it.
"A version of him is here. He's not from our world." If they do, in fact, share a world. So far signs point to yes.

He stares at her unabashedly, searching for the tiniest bit of untruthfulness in what she's telling him. It all sounds completely ridiculous, and if he hadn't caught a glimpse through one of the windows he'd have already shot her (tried to, that is.)
Part of him is still wondering if he's hit his head when he asks, "How's he different from ours?" He can't be too weird; it's Erik. Kurt's hero worship for him at this stage in life knows no bounds.
no subject
She hears the question and she's conflicted on the answer. She goes with something honest as she holds back the hurt she feels for the betrayal. She can't quite tell him that part. Not when this version of Kurt has so little to hold onto. "Younger. Different life. Different choices. His friend, Xavier, leads the X-Men there."
no subject
"Xavier?! Charles Xavier is alive here?" Despite the gravity of the situation and the gun he's still pointing at her (and his arm is starting to ache but like hell he's lowering his weapon,) a smile starts to curl the corners of his mouth. "Erik must be overjoyed."
