[It's been a month of loss for the Windrose. We've lost Ordis, Tenno, and now our captain The Vision. We could probably use some visitors and ship togetherness.]

I know. But still... I'm worry about him. Guess it's harder to hurt a whole ship than one person though.

[She just nods, not really thinking about which would be easier to hurt because that's a path she might get a little nerdy about and no one needs that.] You and Ordis got pretty close?

Yeah. Which is pretty funny, when you think about how much we fought in the beginning.

He did seem to have some trouble fitting in immediately. [She can certainly sympathize with that.] I liked that about him.

Yeah, I guess we're all a little like that on this ship.

The misfit ship? It sounds right.

Like that old Christmas movie. You know the Rudolph one? Where they go to the island of misfit toys?

With the elf dentist? I know it. [She smiles a little. It's kind of nice when something from her world overlaps another and it isn't something like genocide.] Christmas is very pervasive. [Said because she's Jewish and she still knows this movie.]

Yeah, that's the one! He's nothing like the elves we got here, that's for sure.

That's true. I haven't had a single one remind me to floss. [A little amused.]

I don't know, sometimes Maglor can be right dad-like.

I don't think I've had the honor of meeting him. I assume he wears sweaters and tells bad jokes?

Well I guess not quite that bad. More just... he's really protective, you know?

It surprises me how there can still be people in the fleet I haven't met. The prison was so much smaller.

I'll have to invite him over one day, so you can meet him!

Sure. I'm up for meeting anyone. Especially a friend of yours. [She cares about her crew a lot and she's better at expressing it than she would have been once upon a time but it's still more than she shows.]
