A: Iskaluit - Silence and the Storm (Adalwolfe swap)
[ It is the silence that hits, the sudden absence of the symphony that has been Maglor's constant companion since his very first memory, the abrupt loss of the Light that marks him as Eldar, one of those the grey-elves used to call "fire-eyes" for the flame that lived in them, the refraction of the light that birthed Moon and Sun.
He keens, voice shaking in terror... and that is when he starts to breathe frost ]
W-what... what is going on!
B: Iskaluit - The Song's Cessation (Hux swap)
[ The silence this time is marginally bearable, if still terrifying, if only because he can recognise that it has happened before.
He huddles against the bulkhead, pressing close to the window, as if doing so will allow him to hear the Song he misses.
Softly, he keens, aching for the loss of a part of himself. His skill with music is undiminished, and his voice might wring tears from stone - but the magic is gone, the ever present curl that came with him, that let folk see what he sings of.
Anyone who finds him will also note that he seems diminished - almost fading, the Light that always marked him gone. ]
