Oh, nope! They don't live in the apartment. Not unless they die somewheres.

Then they come back to life there! When I — u-um, when I got there, I was really... confused... 'cus I just remember, y'know... I didn't realize I died 'til lots later, when people told me how it works. I thought I just fell asleep 'cus I was hurt so bad.

But then I was in the apartment, and it only lets you leave if you get enough points.
