Here, it is more like a feeling than actually hearing them. Because I am half elf, I am more . . . connected? To nature. So I can hear and speak to it. But for me, I have to be very close or touching my plants to hear them.

That is why I speak to them, though - even if they cannot really speak, they can still hear me. And that way, I can ask them what they need and help them grow better.
