[ you can't equip that. ]
Who: Belthazar and you!
Broadcast: Yes
Action: The Bishop.
When: 12/1, evening.
[video;]
[Much like before-- over a year ago, now-- Belthazar wakes up in a daze. He feels cold all over, a little sick, and he realizes that he's actually felt this before. There's a nice coating of dust all over his room, and an unexpected gift of red clothes folded at the end of his bed. It's... what he was wearing. A gift from Adrasteius, after...
... Ah, his memories are all scrambled again. He wonders how many years it's been this time.
He moves to put on his normal undershirt, but it seems tighter than he remembers, and the sleeves are shorter by a few inches, which makes the wrist-covering part look stupid. It is with great reluctance that he flips on the video feed, still sporting the same bedhead as before.]
According to my communicator, I've only been asleep for about a week... but I can tell you that it felt far, far longer. I apologize for completely missing the feast I had planned. It appears I was sent back home again.
[He clears his throat.]
Also, if-- if anyone has any skill at sewing or altering clothing, I could use a little help. The robes Kirian made me do not fit anymore.

voice;
Animals don't even wear clothes...
[A lot of seraphim wear the same clothes day-by-day too. It's easier to keep clean when you're made of pure mana and can dematerialize yourself on a whim.
A-anyway.]
I still have a lot of fabric leftover from the last few planets, and I've been branching out with my projects lately. If you bring some of your clothes to the Huntress, I can take measurements and see what can be done with them.
voice;
I would appreciate that very much. I have not had my measurements taken in... a long time. Not that there is anything wrong with hand-me-downs, but--
[Right, rambling again.]
Is there anything I can do for you in return?
voice;
That's not necessary, I need the practice. Anyway, I can't promise that I won't make a mess of it.
[Isn't he just so charmingly reassuring?]
voice;
[Very reassuring.]
Winn tells me that he has a sewing machine should things go awry. [A pause.] It's like a loom, but it stitches for you. I've only ever read about them.
voice;
[That's different. Maybe he'll have to look into that someday.]
I'll keep that in mind, but I do actually enjoy sewing by hand. I find it relaxing.
[And it's kind of nice to sit and stitch for hours in the quiet of night, with stuff like Dezel's nature sounds playing or Sorey reading out loud.]
And I promise I won't set it on fire. Water seraph, after all.
voice;
Exactly, so there isn't a thing to worry about. [His smile is in his voice.] If you'd like company, though, I can bring over some books. I own a few that are not in the Iskaulit's library.
voice;
[They love each other, but. Yeah.]
Books or not, the company would be nice.
voice;
Hiro and I were the same.
[He misses his engineering nerd buddy, but life is what it is.]
I have a few books of alien folklore, and at least one that includes a detailed history of the rise and fall of some distant empire. [A pause.] Unless someone took it.
voice;
[He hadn't heard of any thieves in the fleet, but there are enough people that there probably are some. You know. Somewhere.]
voice;
[So yeah, there's some precedent for it.]
voice;
Do you have a lock?
