Hi. So, this is not what I was expecting today. [He was expecting some additional rest and recovery after the last few days. Instead, he feels mysteriously good as new.] I'd just heard some great things about Netflix, and I was looking forward to chilling with it. [Someone may have missed giving him the full explanation and context of that phrase. Ooooor maybe they didn't.]

I am getting tired of being the one who always gets abducted. Winn and Alex could take turns too. Just saying.

[A soft sigh. He's staying in pretty good spirits despite everything, but he's wondering if this is doing him any good.] Is anyone even listening to this?

[And just in case someone is.] My name is Mon-El.

Heh, trust me, I am too. There were some tight spots here and there. Though I haven't been to Earth in awhile, but I was getting comms before I came here so reasonably sure it's still fine.

So Earth improved on it's space travel I guess? What do you do when you're out?

I explore uncharted space, looking for new planets, species, etc - that sort of thing.

Where did you come from? I would take guesses but I don't think any of the planets I know are, well, potentially there in your world.

So, Earth is the same but everything else is different? [Well, not the same, but still a place named Earth.]

Possibly. It's hard to tell with Earths that haven't achieved space travel.

It's a wasteland now from what I hear. [He was trying to keep things light. His planet dying isn't the lightest topic.]

If you're a Daxian on Earth, are you like their Supergirl and Superman? A super hero?

_{[ Because for whatever reason that seems to be a thing on that version
of Earth. ]}

Daxamite. And no, I'm not a super hero. I'm not sure that's for me. [But he wants to help Kara.]

Heh, I don't think it's for everyone. How were you liking Earth?

from a type of Earth, including himself, it could be helpful in helping

So far so good? I have powers there which is new. [Generally, he enjoys that. He could do with a little less accidental breaking of people's arms.]

[He nods.] A tour would be great. [He's a little less sure about settling in but what is he going to do about it that Kara couldn't?] Someone said I might be on the Marsiva for a week? How many ships are there?

Makes it sounds like you guys didn't get along.

Yes, that's right. Every seven days Atroma cycles out any new people onto one of about a half-dozen or so ships we have where you'll find your berth, and there's also the Iskaulit, which is the communal ship I guess you could say. So for the moment you just have to hang tight - enjoy the leg room.

[Indeed! Listen to her unfairly judge him because of his home world! Get your crew in line, Kirk!]

The Iskaulit is the one with the bar. [He's been taking notes. Bar notes.] Are the other ships crowded?

_{[ He has heard. Goodness, Kara, his opinion of you has gone down some,
and it wasn't as high as some other people's to begin with. ]}

Hah, yes, Iskaulit has the bars.

And I wouldn't call them crowded so much as being short on open communal spaces. They're definitely more geared towards living space.

[Mon-El: 1, Kara: 0!]

So there's nowhere to...commune? Other than the Iskaulit. Am I taking all the surprise out of the coming tour with these questions?

Not really. You can commune on other ships - there's room for people, but the Iskaulit is definitely bigger and has more Fleet communal space versus ship communal space, if that makes sense. It has things like the bar, the library, an interfaith area, a park of sorts - that sort of thing.

[Was he supposed to keep listening after "bar?"] It sounds like the place to be. They really should have left me there instead.

There's a bar on the Marsiva, I believe. I'm sure you can entertain yourself there until you're assigned a ship.
