It's almost like kidnapping bonds people. [ She's been there, too, sort of... But she was on the other side. It's awkward and uncomfortable, but it gets easier.

Leaning back and making herself comfortable, Raven just hums. ] The USA. Do I get to ask where you're from?

You might be right. [It worked with him and Kara last time around.]

The USA? [He has to think about it for a moment.] You mean on Earth? [That wasn't what he was expecting from the appearance. Not that he could place a planet he did expect her from, but it's a big universe. Dead ringer for Indigo, but Brainiac isn't really a race of people and he didn't meet her as far as I know.]

Daxam. I've been on Earth for the last month, but I'm from Daxam.

[ Another alien, then. She pauses, for a moment, considering him before she leans back and makes herself a little more comfortable. ]

Did your people have to leave their home? [Like him but if it had been a generation later.] Or am I missing something?

My people don't have a home. [ Raven does manage to smile, at least. ] I'm a mutant. Evolved from humanity.

[spacebro]

Oh. No one mentioned mutants when I got there. Do you just mean you don't have a separate home or are you having to hide who you are there too?

We live on Earth and we're evolved from humanity, but we still had to hide. They didn't trust us, or our powers.

[spacebro]

Mm, I was told to hide mine too. I guess humans are touchy about that kind of thing.

[athru]

They're touching about feeling threatened so they try and blow up the threats. It never works.

[spacebro]

I do frown on being blown up.

[Tilting his head and looking at her sympathetically.]

That sounds hard though. Especially when it's as much your home as theirs.

They're getting used to it. Slowly.

[ The more you save the world the more people seem to like you; go figure. ]

That's something. They were putting in alien amnesty when I got to Earth.

And how was that working for them?

A group trying to get rid of aliens tried to kill the president, and I got blamed for it. So, not perfect.

That sounds right. Aliens or mutants, it's all the same.

A lot of the humans I've met seem like good people though. [He hasn't met that many and spends most of his time in an alien bar. Details.]
