[Wrath, all uniformed up and serious. Anyone who's seen it before will recognize this as her "in command" face, though she mercifully looks less pissed-off than she ever has before in this mode. More... thoughtful.]

This is a message aimed at the ship captains and first mates in the fleet, but I don't think it's a bad idea for other people to hear it. I'm Wrath, now captain of the Windrose.

This place is... weird, because we're given officer titles without an actual command structure in place, and without a legal code, oath, or universal moral authority over us. As someone who was a military officer for... I guess over twenty years, I find that really difficult.

It's pretty obvious that the intention for these ranks to be hollow, and for that to be a source of stress and drama that will entertain the audience. But captain is only an empty title if you let it be. And while we don't have any kind of unified mission or directive, there's one part of being an officer that can and should always apply: we take care of the people under our command.

I know a lot of you have gotten these arbitrary ranks without wanting them or having civilian or military command experience. I think it'd be helpful if we talked. I've got experience I can share, and I know other people do as well. And maybe together, we can come up with some ideas that will make everyone's lives better.

Stefan's said he doesn't mind if we borrow the meeting space in the Interfaith Center on the Iskaulit. This isn't for religious reasons, but because it's a nice space with plenty of chairs and hot drinks and stuff. If you want to participate in this discussion, let's get together tomorrow afternoon while we're still drifting, get to know each other, and talk.

[Wrath doesn't really have expectations as such for people showing up, but she's made sure to get together some refreshments (tea and coffee-esque beverages, juice, and water) and some vegetarian snacks.

The space is set up to be friendly and welcoming, for people to talk in groups large or small, rather than as some kind of lecture thing. She's serious about wanting to keep it informal for now.

To hopefully keep the atmosphere relaxed even if she's in a more focused, serious mindset, Jellybean and Officer Snuggles are wandering around and will be happy to have attention from anyone.]

[The surprise definitely never fails to amuse. Nor does the staring. At the same time she does worry if she's causing others to panic. While that normally didn't cross her mind as something she should worry about - because why should they panic about him being somewhere others were allowed to be? - today she felt as if maybe she was stepping on toes.]

I'm sorry... I wasn't sure if I should leave him aboard my ship. I promise he won't be any trouble.

Oh-- no! It's fine. [She flushes a little, gives a small wave.] I'm not worried so much as surprised. I thought dragons were much...bigger.

He still young?

He is young - merely a hatchling. I doubt the Atroma - whatever their magic is - would allow him to grow larger. It would create a threat for them, I think.

[But they were generous enough to allow her to have him after the planet with the tree had given him to her.]

[Oh well, then. If he isn't growing any larger she doesn't need to worry so much, even if she bridles at the idea the Atroma won't allow it. She edges up to take a closer look.]

What's his name?

His name is Drogon.

[Dany carefully holds up her arm a bit and Drogon adjusts, lifting his head as their new acquaintance approaches.]

What ship do you reside over, if it's alright that I ask?

The Bloodsport. [Terrible name, not her choice. She smiles a little as she watches Drogon move, but she won't reach out to touch him. That's just rude.]

I'm Nami. Nice to meet you-- uh, both.

[Oh boy.

Stefan nearly drops his tea at the sight, because he's gonna be frank - he didn't expect a dragon. Regaining his balance just in time, he sets his tea mug aside before approaching.]

Um. Hi, sorry - are you the Caprine's captain?

[Daenerys nods, smiling a bit when she sees his reaction. Reaching up, she runs her fingers over Drogon's scales while he lazily regarded everything around him.]

Yes, I am. It's a pleasure to meet you and the other captains.

[Holding out her hand, she looks almost expectant.]

Daenerys.

Stefan Salvatore.

[He shakes in return, barely managing to keep his focus on her.]

It's nice to meet you too, Daenerys. I'm the Paisley's captain, as well as the guy who runs this place. [beat] I'm sorry, I'm still stuck on your pet? Partner? Partner-pet? Does he have a name?

My child. His name is Drogon.

[She knew that countless others in the fleet thought her strange when she referred to him as her offspring, but what else could he be? It certainly wasn't strange to her.]

This place is lovely.

[She'd been having a look around while standing off away from the throng of people. She'd felt out of place and still did to a degree. At least now that she had conversation she felt better.]

[You know... by scaring her with puffs of smoke and such while she's working. Dany keeps him out of the Engine room for that reason. :|]

Most of my crew has gone missing recently and I found myself wanting to visit this gathering instead.

I'm sorry. It's never easy losing them, no matter how long you've been here.

[It gets easier, in that he gets used to their inevitable disappearances. Yet he's never grown numb to the pain, especially if he's known them a long time.]

But uh, it's funny you mention that. This meeting was prompted by loss, and us losing someone important too.

[The dragon perks up curiously, upon realizing the woman wasn't frightened of him. The only other people they had met who hadn't reacted that way were Marian Hawke, Tyrion and Leto.]

Hi, Drogon! [Wrath is basically impervious to fear, the only exception being faceless men.] It's really nice to meet you both. How have things been for you so far on the Caprine?
