Who: Fingon
Broadcast: N/A
Action: Hotel Corona, locations open to requests!
When: Sometime during the last week of December.
It happened by accident. The young Elf had intended to get on a shuttle back to the Huntress but instead ended up somewhere else. Instead of staying on the shuttle though, Fingon went exploring, wide blue eyes peeking around corners and so curious! So many new things to see!
He was small even for an Elfling his age {though older than he looked compared to that of humans, as an example} but was well used to adjusting to any difficulty his size might create. There was a bit of fear in his mind the longer he wandered, but he was determined to keep looking for a familiar face.
The communicator went forgotten.

Which, of course, was where he stopped to examine a small statue not far from the little elfling.

Which left the Elfling staring up at Arthur with a small frown and his head tilted to one side as he absently fiddled with the hem of his tunic.

"Fin-de-káno? What are you doing here, little one?" he asked, turning to him directly.
no subject
"I got lost."

Exasperated older cousin is exasperated.
"What did I tell you about wandering off without telling grandfather?

"Next time, call him, if you get lost. Or me, or Mae... Maitimo. You had us all worried."
no subject
And flushed, burying his face against Maglor's neck. "I forgot," was the muffled answer. "I'm sorry..."
no subject
"I forgive you. But you really must learn to be responsible about this - the ships are large, the Hotel moreso - what if we did not find you? Call grandfather, and if he sets any punishment, you are not to complain, understand?"

The Elfling moved fast when he wanted to explore. It reminded him when his second son liked to run off to explore and he wasn't surprised his grandson had the same tendency.
He frowned as he lost sight of his grandson, trying to determine which way he could have gone. He decided to head towards the direction of where he knew there was a pool, wondering if his mischievous grandson had decided he wanted to go for a swim.

"Anatar!" He cried as loud as he could, hoping Finwë would hear and get to him.
no subject
"I have you, little one," he said as he gathered the wet Elfling into his arms. "Did you want to go swimming?"
no subject
"Finno, what are you doing by yourself? Grandfather and Kano must be worried!" he smoothed his hand over the little one's hair, "You know well that you cannot hide from me if those were your intentions." his mock frown was not very convincing.

"There is much to see and do! I cannot hold you accountable for being misguided." he too had been drawn to the hotel, amazed at what he saw, "Let us send a message to Grandfather and Kano, hm? Then you and I can explore together."
no subject
His eyes flew open wide and he looked up at Maedhros guiltily. "I forgot about that." But the look vanished quickly as he brightened and practically bounced in his cousin's arms. "Can we?"
no subject
"Mm but I did not." he pulled out his communicator and sent a message to Finwë and Maglor, clumsily recording a video to set their minds at ease, "Wave to them, Finno, and then we will be on our way."
Ending the feed, he grinned at the bouncing. "Of course! I have wanted to spend time with you since you arrived!"
no subject
Then promptly wrapped his little arms around his cousin's neck to snuggle in close. He had no objections to this! "Where do you want to go?"
no subject
"There is a pool, a place where small ships ram into one another for fun, I think, and another area where we can take a ship into the stars..." his low voice was tender as he let Fingon choose.
no subject
"Into the stars?" Excited awe touched the Elfling's voice. Swimming and watching things run into each other didn't sound fun at the minute.

"To the stars we shall go, my Finno." he carried them to a small ship and tucked Fingon into one of the seats, "Be still while I learn the controls."

He nodded and watched, holding as still as any Elfling could - though it helped watching Maedhros work!
