Tyrion - OTA
He drank more than usual, though, and he had taken to walking the halls of the Hotel Corona, all manner of all hours. He did a few of his personal jobs there - negotiating deals between parties as a third party arbitrator. Yet his heart wasn't into it, in fact there was very little passion in anything he did these days.
Furiosa
[Since Lily's absence, Furiosa had found herself attempting to cook. At first it was simply in an attempt to make sure the fruits and vegetables didn't go to waste. Then, it became a matter of making sure Max eats more than protein paste.]
[What she makes is simple, but hearty. Stews, goulash, nothing too extravagant. There's plenty of leftovers and if you're there she'll dish it up hot. She's been in space for over a year and she's still not over the fact that - even rationed - food is several times more accessible than the Wastelands.]
Cargo Bay
[She continues to maintain a physical regimen to keep from getting restless. She's got her fast and fierce Wastelander style, but she's starting to pick up on other tactics from people she spars with. What have you got to teach her? Or have you anything to learn?]
Hotel Corona
[When she needs a break she's still got her tropical paradise room on the Hotel, as well as she picks up whatever odd jobs she can - running courier, help moving large items, whatever she can do for a few extra credits.]

Engineering
"Okay. Talk."
Re: Engineering
Furiosa's presence snapped him out of staring at the page in his book for another ten minutes, and then he sighed. "Dany is gone."
Re: Engineering
"Dany ... the blond girl, right?" Furiosa thinks she's seen her around, that she reminded her faintly of The Dag. "You two were close?"
Re: Engineering
"I was - am - should be in the future - Her Queen's Hand. Her top advisor, representative, and her ruling stead when she is off in battle. I ... we trusted one another."
Engineering
"Can I ask ... what is she going back to?"
Re: Engineering
Her question makes his shoulders tense, and he takes another hit off the bottle, "She is going back to make war. To take back Westeros from the Usurpers."

Busy night?
Engineering forever
Furiosa is getting at something. She watches him fidget with his plants, and after a moment slides the bottle back over.
1/7 - kitchen
still, when he spots the kitchen occupied he stops in the doorway. is she the cook, or cooking for herself?]
Should I come back later?
no subject
No, come on it. Are you hungry?
no subject
he lets himself in and sits down at the table, peering around at all the contraptions and dispensers in the kitchen, a mixture of recognizable utensils and strange apparatuses.]
Do you cook for the ship, or just for fun?
no subject
I'm Furiosa, First Breath's Captain and Pilot.
no subject
Aizawa, new lab support. Good to meet you. [so she's the captain...] Need any assistance there, Captain? [the titles seem more or less arbitrary, but he's not about to dismiss that out of hand. she definitely doesn't carry herself like some puffed-up civilian, anyway.]
no subject
No, I've got it under control. [She goes back to cutting up some of the vegetables she'd procured and dumping them into a put with some basic soup stock. It's nothing fancy, but it does beat the protein pastes.]
Is this very different, from where you came from?
no subject
I'm not about to have a mental breakdown, at least. [so that's one less thing for furiosa to worry about.] Do people usually have difficulty adjusting?
no subject
[And speaking of augments ...] What position did you get?
no subject
no subject
That's a good idea.
[Sets the spoon aside and adjusts the heat, letting it simmer for a bit as she thinks,] I'd like to extend that to Tyrion Lannister. He's our engineer, but he does a lot for the ship and the crew.

Don't be a schlenger.
no subject
[He is cleaning the glasses with a practiced eye at this point, even if he is just going through the motions.]
What can I get for you?
Re: Engineering forever
Is Tyrion's simple response, as he moves onto the next tank.
no subject
It's not much, she realizes this; not with the way he's described his world before, but things could be a lot worse.
no subject
no subject
Alright. Nice and casual. [he can do that. he can also leave her alpine with the questions already. she's not unfriendly, but he gets the feeling she doesn't do a whole lot of chitchat, which is perfect.]

Wake you up, keep you going. "But she's alive, and that means she can still fight. That's something. Hold onto it."
no subject
How much?
no subject
he's halfway through his soup when he asks around a mouthful,] Do the rankings and roles actually mean anything here?
post space battle
Kaidan himself suffered only a few injuries - a few bruises and a glancing shot or two from the raider's guns that his armor patched up or deflected. There are bigger injuries to be dealt with around the fleet, so he had ignored those in favor of divesting himself of his armor to starting on repairs.
However, Kaidan isn't in the armory right now. The pieces of the distinctive blue armor are set out on a table, but he's nowhere to be seen. Rather, he's currently in his quarters, curled up into a corner of his bed with the lights off. It happened like this sometimes, once the adrenaline from battle had passed from his system. The stabbing pain of a migraine that often crept up and slotted into his brain, somewhere between his temple and his amp-port. Repairs would have to wait.]
no subject
[She'd noticed Kaidan's armor without Kaidan. She makes her way slowly to his quarters and knocks on the hatch,]
Hey, you in there?
[Her voice is hoarse, but otherwise steady, for the moment.]
no subject
There's a long pause, though, until he answers]
...yeah, I'm here.
[He speaks up as loudly as he can manage without causing too much pain, so he sounds about as worse for wear as she does. Not that he's getting up to open the hatch for her.]
no subject
Good to see you're alive.
no subject
Same to you. Was a bit worried when you left and didn't come back.
[He's trying to decide if he also resents her for that action. Sure, the boarding party was dealt with but the battle wasn't over. Without a pilot they'd been left to drift.]
Forgive me...if I don't get up.
[He's shifted a bit so he can sort of see her better, but that's about it. His hand is more or less permanently affixed to his head]
no subject
[She'd been under the impression their secondary pilot Barton would have grabbed the wheel, but if that's not the case - Kaiden - you need to let her know.]
What happened to you, anyway?
no subject
[Deep scratches, going by the blood, but it's true that he's hardly bleeding out.]
What kind of difficulties?
no subject
Greater numbers, more powerful weapons. Blow to the back of the head. [That was kind of it for her and fighting, this time.]
You should clean up.
no subject
Top of my list, I promise, just as soon as this migraine lets up. What about you? Did you see a doctor yet?
[Difficult, considering they once again don't have one on board]
no subject
['No' and also 'Not Happening'. She generally tried to avoid
Organ MechanicsDoctors whenever possible.]no subject
If you're sure. Probably should get someone to poke you awake every so often tonight. To be safe.
[He is not. new. to injuries.]
