Who: Sam Winchester and you!
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: N/A (unless you want it)
When: Now!
Hey guys. Sorry to prod, but - I noticed there were some... strange readings here in communications when I was scanning the area. Blips, signatures from something out there in that nebula just beyond us. Just wondering if anyone else had been noticing those; not sure what they are, but maybe they're just... I don't know. Ships making their way out here to visit the hotel? I can't really tell much other than they're reading on the radar. Keep me updated if you get anything on that. Just in case.
For everyone else who'd rather not be technologically savvy or deal with science or concerning blips - um.
I don't know, I like to pass the time while I'm working on random crap. But what to play out... Hmm.
'Never Have I Ever' is... Nah, that's just gonna earn me dirty replies.
How about 'Would you Rather'? Always a hit in a moving vehicle that still has another eight hours on the road.
Like...

Would you rather have a nest of spiders explode above your head, or fall in a hole full of snakes?

Absolutely. Have you eaten the glop they give us?
It's worse than prison food.

[She can't help but laugh a bit.]
I've had prison food too, actually.
[You know, when she was living in a prison and stuff. Gotta love that zombie apocalypse life.]

[He doesn't sound particularly judgmental. He's clearly the type, since he's been there.]

[For real. Why were zombies even a thing? Zombies were supposed to be one of those things that would never happen and yet there they were. There her family had been, eventually most of them becoming one of the undead.]

[He smiles, cheeks dimpling, friendly and open as ever to whatever madness she's got going on in her life.]

[Give her a minute, she's trying to figure out how to explain this without sounding ridiculous. Consider yourself lucky, you're the first person she's talked to about home at length - even with her crewmates!]
So, back home... everyone's dead. I mean - well... undead. Except for a few of us. We spent a lot of time traveling on foot or in cars when we can find 'em and the gas to fuel 'em. Eventually, we found an abandoned prison compound and stayed there for a while. We, ah... we had to leave eventually because it got overrun by Walkers.
[She'll just leave the parts about the feud and people she loved dying horribly and then getting separated from most of their group until they met up again after dealing with CANNIBALS OF ALL THINGS.
Yeah, that might be a bit much.]
I've lost a lot of people I love between the beginning and now, but the people I found are good people. They're family. It's how I met my husband too.
[She smiles a bit, giving him a quick glimpse of her engagement ring and wedding ring.]

But — it's good that you've found something to hang onto.
[He listens patiently, and smiles at the end, sympathetic but relieved she at least had someone left — small mercies. He knows how it can be, watching your family and friends picked off around you.]
We, um. We had something like that happen in my world.
Not permanently, but in a town. People rising from the dead, and all of that.

How'd you cure it? Or was there just no one left infected to kill off?
no subject
I think our undead were a little different. They were violent and tried to kill people, but they weren't contagious from bites or anything. It wasn't an infection that brought them back, I mean. We just... had to put them back down.
