As soon as he realizes people are boarding the ship, he's there to guard the way with his sword drawn. Anyone who brings swords to a goddamn gun fight is an idiot, or so the saying goes, but Kanda is ridiculously fast. Any phaser blasts that get directed at him, he just deflects them with the black-red blade of his sword.
He's also not against killing people, though he tries to put it off as much as possible if Allen and Sokka are around. Otherwise he carves through the party with ruthless efficiency afforded to him by his healing factor. Honestly, he looks like he isn't even trying.]
