When: Friday - late at night when good souls should be sleeping.

[She doesn't know when it began or what started it. Oh she has dealt with glitches before - she was a child for a few weeks - but this one is so different! It can't be a glitch, right? She has never had so much energy in her life!]

I don't think I've ever gotten so much done in a few hours! I wonder what was stopping me before? I don't even feel like I need to sleep!

[Whoa, Rey, slow down. How many cups of coffee have you had?]

I'm tired of being cooped up, though. Would anyone like to take a shuttle with me to Iskaulit or one of the other ships? I know the Bloodsport needs a lot of repairs and I've finished some minor ones, but I need move more.

[She is already pacing, stray strands of hair falling from her customary buns to touch her face.]

I would gladly take a shuttle to meet you at the Iskaulit!

{Though maybe Fingon shouldn't? He'll say he's perfectly fine now, naturally!}

You would? How are you? Were you hurt in the battle? I knocked out a lot of raiders, but I don't think I killed anyone. [Rey, you need to breathe at some point.]

{Fingon laughs softly, enjoying her enthusiasm!}

A moment, my friend! I am well, no permanent damage was done to me and I heal quickly. I fought a fair few.

[She can't entirely help it; all she knows is she is brimming with energy and ideas. Oh the insatiable urge to move move move~!]

Did your family help you? If you say you heal quickly, does that mean you were hurt? [Now she frowns.] I'm not okay with that.

{The urge to move is understandable!}

They did, they made sure I was safe and my wound mended. {And have been making Fingon sit still and rest since then.} I assure you I am well!

Then I'll meet you on the Iskaulit? [She smiles hopefully and grabs her staff and her bag.] Be careful anyway? I don't want your family mad at me.

I will be there! I may have to bring a cousin along, if that is well with you? My family can be protective. {To put it extremely mildly!} But I will do my best not to keep you waiting long!

Everyone is welcome! As long as they can keep up! [She is trying not to be too jealous of the bond he shares with them. That isn't fair of her.] I'll wait near the docks.

{A grin!} I doubt that will be a problem!

{Fingon arrives alone not long after, and approaches at a sedate pace. He's promised not to overtax himself!}

I have been turned loose for the rest of the night!

Do you swear? [She grins playfully.] Alright, then!

[The journey to the Iskaulit is uneventful - much to her disappointment. However once aboard the bigger ship, she has far more room to pace and breathe and -]

Fingon! [She hurries up to him, beaming.] Then we should make the most of it!

{Fingon just laughs.

He's grateful for a peaceful shuttle ride to the Iskaulit. Rey's smile is mirrored.}

I agree! What do you have in mind?

First, you're going to show me where you were injured. [No ifs, ands or buts about it!]

{Fingon sighs but pulls the top of his robes open enough to show the healing wound. The stitches have been removed, leaving pink skin behind and a fading bruise.}

[She examines it critically, understanding almost immediately how he was injured.]

Someone stabbed you. [Rey has a strong distaste for such wounds and all evidence of her giddiness disappears.] I should have gone to you and your family.

It was hardly the first time I have been struck by a sword. I was careless and paid the price.

{Fingon closes his robe and lightly touches her shoulder with a gentle smile.} You were where you were needed, I had plenty of defenders as my cousin Maitimo found me soon after. I was not left alone.

Really? Do Elves fight a lot? [She peers up at his features, trying to see beyond the smile.] That's good. I'm glad you have them. We're such a small crew on Bloodsport and it didn't feel right to leave.

More than I would like. {The smile dims briefly.} I left a war when I was brought here.

The Huntress is a fair size. But I will not leave my family to danger by choice. {It's enough that Finrod lives on another ship that Fingon's thankful the rest are all on one ship.}

I'm sorry. [She feels like she might be in the center of a war when she returns. It's inevitable.]

I don't blame you. [Part of the reason she hadn't transferred ships to be with Finn and Poe (as well as Pinkie Pie) had been because the Bloodsport was such a small crew. Rey doesn't abandon anyone in need if she can help it.] I mean, I don't really remember what it's like to have a family, but it seems nice.

Don't be. I simply dislike battle. {Though Fingon's good in a fight.} We all do what we must.

I'm fortunate with my immediate family, though there are...individuals... {A certain uncle.} Chosen family can be just as precious, do not discount those you decide for yourself to be family.

If you liked them, I would be worried about you. [Rey isn't bad. Even with a light-saber, she isn't exactly a beginner if she relies on the Force to guide her.] What else can we do?

I really don't have many of those either.

Rey? Are you okay? [Are you going to be able to say no? She's pretty sure it's no.]

Yes, I'm great! [And talking a mile a minute!] How are you? Do you wanna go to the Iskaulit too?

Iiiiiiiii think maybe I should. [Because you shouldn't be alone?]

Why's that? [She is currently storing her staff into a shuttle. This is a wonderful idea. It's not like she can remember the last time she slept.

Oh wait. That is a problem, isn't it?]

Mostly because I don't know you that well, but none of this feels super normal.

I do feel...different. [Despite her state of mind, she has to admit that much.] It's not bad.

Something happen? Because adrenaline from the attack really should have worn off by now.

I don't think that's it. I've been attacked before and I've never felt like this!

Did you take any pills?

No? I'm not sure where I would find pills anyway.

Really, I'm alright. I just feel great!

Okay. I buy that. It's just a burst of greatness. No reason not to have it chaperoned.

I wasn't expecting a pill to be permanent either. But yeah, all things considered it could be worse. [She's just really touchy about the augments.]

If you're really worried about me, I'm on the Bloodsport making repairs and - [Well, additions.] The ships are fascinating. I've made diagrams of nearly every part I've come across.

Yeah, okay. I'll come observe and make sure it's not harmful at least.

[Oh no, she's been caught!] It's not that much worry. Like a pinch of worry instead of a cup of worry.

Well, we all only have each other out here. [And Finn would have wanted someone to be watching out for her. She doesn't say that part though because she doesn't want to kick the girl in the feels.] We should watch each others' backs.

I've never had so many people I could rely on. [She smiles a little too much after that statement, her giddiness coloring her emotion.] I'll watch yours!

[Since she doesn't seem to need to sleep...]

[Well, that's a little sad, but also something she understands. She had to build up to that feeling again each time she was abducted.] My back would like that.
