[Look, someone is actually taking it easily, making notes and recording everything that happened lately so he can go through it all later and pick thing apart.]
I'm probably looking too much into this but-
[He shifts, wincing slightly as he sits more upright.]
We're here for entertainment right? Could Atroma have staged that attack? It doesn't seem like they gave a damn during the attack and, I mean, the Marsiva wasn't touched, was it? What would be more entertaining for people than seeing us all in real danger?
If they're willing to just kidnap us, they wouldn't be above this!

They could have put word out about us, that's all most thugs need to attack.

It's true, they could have. Or one of the many places we have visited could have sent out word as well. We left an impression on a way station not that long ago, to say the least.
[ Because Fenris and some others were murdering salvers and Kirk might have sent out massive amounts of their confidential data to the quadrant, but that's not worth talking about now. ]
That's why I say if nothing else Atroma could have just taken advantage of the situation rather than engineered it. There's no evidence here, only theory and supposition. Still, doesn't make me trust them any more than I did before, and before I didn't trust them at all.

[He wishes he was better with technology, that he could get back to the Marsiva and take the answers from their systems.]
I wouldn't put it beyond them.

That's the trouble we've all been facing - since the beginning I hear and it's certainly been true of my time here.
For now, though, our efforts are better spent patching the ships and taking care of each other than worrying over Atroma's role in all this.

Then I suggest learning as much as you can about the ships we are actually on.
If anything, they will be key to our potential eventual escape.
[ No point in filtering or whispering, right? Not like others haven't talked about this shit aloud before either. ]

They'd be useful, if they will be. [But they didn't use the ships to kidnap them as first.]
no subject
[ He doubted the tiny Fleet ships were part of the kidnapping. They were used for housing, and little more. They didn't hide the right equipment or power for breaking through dimensions, to say the least. ]
Oh, they will be. How else are we supposed to get across space, after all? Trust me, space-ships aren't cheap, so it's better we keep what we have working as much as we can for any sort of plan.

Teleporting to someplace you don't know and over a distance you've never tried is asking for trouble, though. The ships would be a more reliable option.

You realize the distance you're talking about isn't hundreds of miles, right? We're talking in terms of millions, even billions, or more of miles - the majority of which is empty space that is definitely not where you want to land.

[ THAT'S NOT A GOOD THING, KHADGAR. ]
I wouldn't be so sure here. Others have tried - and been repelled by Atroma. If you try it, just be prepared for a nasty backlash.
no subject
I never said I wouldn't try to find a way to deal with them first.

[ SERIOUSLY, MESSING WITH OTHER DIMENSIONS CAN SCREW THINGS UP FOR A LOT OF PEOPLE. ]
I know, I'm just handing out a friendly warning to be prepared for that. They seem the type to have... backups prepared.
no subject
I guess we'll see how many backups we can take out first then.

[ BEST LAID PLANS, AND ALL THAT JAZZ. ]
Heh, I guess we will. Your optimism is refreshing - keep it up.

I'm beginning to get that idea.
Have you uncovered anything new since the party?

no subject
That's... not entirely true. I was in a coma and 'went back', but some people have physically disappeared and returned. It happens both ways, and sometimes people come back with no memory of this place at all.
no subject
Is there anyone here you know of that left and came back? I wouldn't want to miss a chance to talk about it.
no subject
I think Beverly might have, if I recall correctly. I know there have been others, and some still are here, but no one particularly recent. Beverly Crusher might know more - she has been here longer than me, and I have only heard the stories.
no subject
Alright, I'll have to find her and talk to her.
