It was during that attack. My fears kinda got outta hand. [And now people are dead. Whoops.]

My mother said that when our powers get stronger, so does the world. Like we have to be in balance. Learning control is important.

Maybe you just need to control your fears so they don't overpower you.

Sure, I'd like to! But...they're kinda fickle about when they show up.

That makes them sound like a person rather than a power. Do they do that a lot?

Kinda. It's more...they just don't work unless I'm feeling bad. I dunno why exactly.

Maybe we can try it? I could use the paper to scare you and see whether you can control it.
