A) Closed to Wanda's Christmas List

[The past two months have been kind of crazy for everyone, and that certainly included Wanda. Spending the month of December with no memories of her previous time in the Fleet, regaining them (well, almost all of them) so suddenly and somewhat painfully, followed by all the chaos that came with the surprise attack on the Fleet, and then, of course, there was the necessary repair process after that, it's all been a whirlwind of distractions and activity for Wanda. Finally now, things were starting to settle back down, and that meant Wanda could turn her attention back to a project she's been discreetly working on since her memories returned.]

[She'd felt guilty that her "condition" had kept her from celebrating the Christmas holidays with her friends and shipmates. Now, it was over a full month passed, but she still really wanted to try and do something special. She'd been gathering some presents over the past year during the Fleet's travels, but she had not quiet finished her list. Thankfully, with time now available to her, she's seen to finishing her list -- which she may have added some people to post-December. But, in her eyes, they still deserved presents.]

[Anyways, last night, Wanda set about delivering her gifts to everyone. Each person will find the gift waiting outside their doors or in an easily spotted place in a communal area. The gifts have tags specifying who each present is for, and some may also have "special instructions," but none have any note as to WHO the gifts are from. Perhaps Wanda's feeling a little too embarrassed and guilty about only just now finally delivering her Christmas gifts to attach her name to them. However, each present will feature wrapping or packaging that belies a certain affinity for the color red. Naturally, some (or all) gift recipients might be able to put two and two together. If they'd then like, they may contact Wanda via communicator or in person. Just expect a very pink-face, blushing Wanda to greet you.]

B) Fleetwide Broadcast

[When Wanda turns on the broadcast, she looks noticeably... well, tired. It seems she did not get a lot of sleep last night for some reason. Hmmm. Odd. She tries to smile, friendly and cheerfully, though her eyes flutter a few times while she speaks. Girl's likely gonna take a long nap after this.]

I was, um, baking... a lot recently... and I, um... I made extra! So, if anyone would like some cookies or brownies, they are... They are on the Starstruck! ... in the kitchen... room... area...

[She covers her mouth with her hand, attempting (poorly) to cover a soft yawn.]

Help yourselves! I... um, everyone is welcome! First come, first serve though... sorry... I can make some more... later...

[The video feed cuts there, as Wanda falls back onto her bed for some much needed rest. Anybody who received a mysterious, belated Christmas gift this morning just got a big clue as to who it was that delivered them.]

[ the gift was perfectly timed, if you ask him. he had plenty of happiness going around christmas between the holiday and his birthday. now, though, it seems like the stream of bad news has returned, and the delicious gift couldn't be a more welcomed reprieve if it tried.

the popcorn tipped him off. the IOU confirmed it. the broadcast? is adorable. ]

I owed you the popcorn, so I think we're even. [ he smiles ] After you get some sleep, we should movie night the right way.

[Natasha wasn't expecting any gifts, and definitely not from Wanda. If not for the broadcast, Natasha very probably wouldn't have entertained the idea it was Wanda at all.

Since she woke without memories, Natasha has been giving the girl space. Paying attention, certainly, but letting other people handle the hands on.

When she sees Wanda's current tired, baking condition, though, she reassesses her place on the list of suspects.]

Busy night?

[Wanda smiles bleary-eyed at Winn's face on her screen. That didn't take long at all for someone to figure out who their gift was from. She's still too tired to quite realize how obvious she had made it.]

That was not easy to make by the way... the chocolate popcorn... so you better like it!

[She's too tired to sound properly, mockingly sarcastic. Instead, it just comes off as hopefully kind of endearing with the overly-exaggerated pouty look on her tired face.]

Next time, make sure you invite Kitty... wouldn't want her to get cranky about being left out of... [Another yawn.] movie nights...

[Wanda tries to suppress another yawn. Tries, but fails...]

Is it that obvious?

Don't worry, I got this! It'll be the best loved popcorn in the history of popcorn. Centuries from now, its great great great great great great great great great pop-grand-corns will still be hearing stories about the most loved popcorn there ever was.

[ he even says it all with a straight face. and a nod at the end. ]

Wouldn't want that. [ he smiles warmly ] Get some shut eye, call me later.

[Wanda snorts at that.]

That's a lot of greats.

[She smiles appreciatively at him.]

Thanks. I will.

Both the shut eye... and the calling later...

[And that's all the permission Wanda needs. She even forgets to turn off her communicator, so Winn may now here the sound of Wanda softly snoring a little. Yeah, girl can fall asleep fast! Though, it certainly helps when you're exhausted as she's feeling.]

Sleep - tight.

[ well, that was fast. he blinks and texts steve to go shut it off for her. ]

I'd say it's my keen powers of observation, but... [Wryly, clearly joking.]

So what brought this on? That's a hell of a sweet tooth for one person.

Hey- I got your gift. I'd be willing to share.

[Al is proudly modeling his new bowtie when he responds.]

Thanks for the present. I look pretty sharp, don't you think?

[Wanda blinks at Natasha for a moment. The wheels in her tired head turning slowly, trying to think of a convincing explanation.]

I, um... I just like baking?

[Really, really transparent...]

[After Wanda's gotten some rest, she's feeling more on point, but also more embarrassed at how completely obvious she'd been about her "secret" gift giving. When she responds to Jennifer's message, her cheeks are a notable shade of pink.]

O- oh, I didn't mean for the two glasses to imply that I wanted you to share with ME. I just thought, if you had someone you'd like to share with, it- it would just be convenient if you had two glasses ready! And- and, well, I mean, the guy was only selling them as pairs, too. So- so I kind of had to get both of them, and...

[Wanda realizes she's running her mouth at a mile a minute, so she shuts up as her face turns even redder.]

[Wanda smiles as she receives Al's message. At this point, it was clear that her mystery, belated Christmas gifts hadn't been so mysterious at all. Still, it was a little embarrassing to her how obvious she had made herself.]

I'm glad you like it. I guess you recognize the material then?

I didn't know that.

[Which isn't the same as calling her a liar. Natasha figures there's a lot of things Wanda likes she doesn't know about. But it's the first time she's seen her fill a kitchen with baked goods.]

So are these really all up for grabs?

Mmhmm- and with the red packaging, I made an educated guess.

Hey, hey, don't worry about it. Wine tastes better when you have a friend to share it with, right? [Jennifer hesitates, going a little pink as well before she adds shyly-] Besides, I'm not sure Stefan drinks wine.

[This is a glorious necklace and a much needed pick me up, and if she wasn't sure who delivered it is, she is now.]

Wanda...!

[...um.]

Were you... awake all night?

[ Sadly Erik isn't awake to receive them, but Charles is sure he would say the same. ]

[so THIS is ms. maximoff. aizawa did say he'd be looking for an opportunity to introduce himself to her, on peggy's request. this'll do.

[ it's a good thing steve still goes to his old room, maintaining it for the maps he draws and the books he reads. His nights may be spent with Peggy but some of his things are still here.

Today, however, there's something waiting outside the door. he picks up the box and walks inside, opening it as he goes.

he takes out the record player and examines it, smiling when the first song starts to play. the note gives her in and he gets up, walks up to her door and knocks. ]

[To Wanda's credit, it wasn't exactly a fib. She did like cooking and baking for herself, her brother, her shipmates, and/or visiting friends, but she just never quite had a reason like this before to go so incredibly all out and make so much.]

Well... um, now you do! I'm sure there are... hobbies you have that I don't know about.

[Hadn't she once upon a time associated Natasha with dancing? She couldn't say for certain. She's too tired at the moment.]

However many that are left... help yourself.

[When Wanda calls Winn back, she's look a shade pinker than she was before.]

Um, hello Winn...

I said I would call after I got some rest, sooo...

[She's internally face-palming at how obvious she'd been in her "secret" gift-giving.]

[A nervous chuckle from Wanda.]

In retrospect, that was not so subtle of me...

[A sigh.]

Well, so much for that little secret.

[Blinks for a moment, surprised by this sudden revelation. Her face then instantly lights up, and she leans forward excitedly into the camera.]
