[Sokka keeps tabs on his crew a lot, but there's a few scant people outside of the Blue Fish he absolutely tried to check up on as and when he can. After the...weird hyperactivity effects he'd experienced wore off, he made to check up on exactly one of those people. And his search came up empty.

So, he turns on the video, stepping out of one of the shuttles and heading through the hallways of the Blue Fish, heading to the bridge]

I'm not sure who she knew all that much, so I'm making this public in case anyone's missed it and gets worried about her.

[He flops down into his captain's chair with a heavy sigh. This sucks.]

Korra's gone. Home, hopefully. Which is probably a better thing for her. Important Avatar business and all that.

[And then there was one. Again.]

That sounds pretty much how I'd go about it, too.

You'd think they'd be more excited about learning about magic, but...

I mean, sure, I'm not a big fan of magic or anything- science is my jam. But if you're there to learn about it, well, it'd be a good start to care about the subject you're learning, jeez.

It was all so interesting! We learned so much and all they cared about was messing around on their brooms.

[ She's doing them a disservice, really, but... ]

Okay no I have to ask. Brooms?. As in...cleaning equipment?

No, as in for flying. Witches and wizards ride brooms.

[... ]

Like...air bison?

It could be a little like Appa, I suppose... But it's actual brooms just enchanted to fly.

But how do they even-

[No. Wait. Hold the phone. ]

You know Appa?

Um. Yes? [ She just. Smiles. ] He was in the world I was in before this one.

[His mind is blown]

Another kidnappy place like this? Does that mean any of my friends were there? Aang? Katara? Toph? Zuko? Suki?

A bit like this, yes. I... Don't think I met any of them, but their names sound familiar.

Huh, buy you saw Appa? Was he there alone?

He was there with Korra, Mako and Bolin - and Asami.

Oh! So all of Korra's friends. Huh. That's pretty neat.

Yes! They were all really lovely, honesty. [ She doesn't want to get into the details of Korra and Mako being like a brother and sister, that's a bit sore. ] I even learned a little bit of bending while she was around.

[He won't press her about it, at least. He's decided not to ask too much about the future. He doubts he'll like what he learns.]

Really? I never heard of someone not-from-home learning bending. I didn't even think it was possible.

In the Drabwurld we all had these magical things in our chests, Shards of a great gem that had broken centuries before. Carrying a shard gave you incredible power and one of those powers was being able to learn someone else's from them, as if it gave you the magic you needed. That's how I learned.

Oh! Huh. That's...actually something really useful. I bet you could learn all kinds of abilities with that.

Did it come with you here? The bending? Or did it all get lost when you left Drabwurld?

I tried my best, but some people were more interested in learning my magic. [ She shakes her head, though. ] The only magic I kept, other than my own, was being able to turn into a lion.

I guess I can understand that.

...Wait. Like a lion lion?

Yes. With wings.

Ohhhh.

Okay, see a flying lion makes way more sense.

[He's not even joking. ]

I'm not all that surprised, honestly. [ She's smiling, though. ] Would you like to see?
