Who: Furiosa & Gemini
Broadcast: n/a
Action: Starstruck
When: Today
[Furiosa could never quite tell what was going to trigger a hallucination; they seemed to occur without provocation that she could tell, and last anywhere from a flash of a moment to a few minutes (although they could almost feel like an eternity, either way). Sometimes, it was one simple, single thing from her past; an overwhelming smell of oil and gunpowder, the sound of wind over sand, or the feeling of a harsh sun at her back. Sometimes, as she found sitting with Max, people from her past would find their ways into the people of her present.]
[Those were the ones that were hardest to pull herself out of. It was so easy to lose herself in the memory of the person, become enveloped by the feelings associated with them. As such, she made it a point to keep away from people as much as possible. She spent most of her time resting in Max's quarters (or rather, storage area), and venturing out only for necessities. It wasn't a particularly stimulating existance, but she told herself it was temporary, and the less she ran into people the less chance of loosing herself to her past.]
[But, it's a small ship with its own crew and it's only a matter of time before the inevitable happens and she runs into someone else.]

The Starstruck is quiet, and that's why Gemini's emerged from the ducts, wandering openly the ship's corridors, checking out the various rooms of the ship. The cargo bay is an irresistible lure, so it's not long before she's stepping through the door, her nose wrinkling at the smell of grease and sweat, Gemini idly toes a piece of scrap out of her way with a slight 'clang' before walking deeper inside.
If there's anything else that Gemini wants in here then she's taking it.]

[Either way, she's moving into the cargo bay, looking around warily.]

Oops.
[While her senses are better than the average human's she's not really paying much attention to anything other than her immediate surroundings and hasn't realised she's no longer alone.]

You better clear out before you ---
[She rounds the corner and stops, because she sees Gemini now; except it's not Gemini. Her augment glitches, and with a faint sound of wind over sand, she sees Rictus Erectus standing there.]
no subject
I'll clear out when I want to.
[She sneers smugly, barely paying the woman any attention, giving her a dismissive wave.]
Go away, I'm busy.

[She's expecting him to attack, but he doesn't, instead dismissing her with a thick handed wave. It's disarming enough that she's still for another moment, but then she realizes he's given up the first move.]
[Because he could not show up, see her there, and not expect a fight.]
[So with the quick-fire flare of anger, she springs into action; rushing him with a primal scream.]

What the f...
[Maybe being in the fleet has dulled her reflexes, and such is her surprise that when Furiosa barrels into her she's knocked clean over, still a little too stunned to react.]
no subject
There's a reason they got me to watch over them, schlenger.
no subject
Get the hell off me!
[She growls, sliding a foot agilely upwards and thumping it into Furiosa's chest to try and knock her backwards. Gemini has to hold back a little because she's quite easily strong enough to break bone and the Augment won't let her to too serious harm to anyone. But still, she has a hell of a kick.]

Glutton for punishment huh? Well if that's what you want...
[The punch she throws at Furiosa's face is almost lazy, but it still has enough force to break her nose if it connects.]

[So, she staggers with Gemini's hit, grunting, but it doesn't deter her. She follows it up with a swing with the wrench, aiming for Gemini's torso.]
no subject
She could stop that wrench but really why bother? It isn't as if it will hurt her and in fact Gemini can use it to her advantage. The wrench slams into her torso and instead of bouncing off it sinks into her torso with a viscous squelch, and sticking like in quicksand. Gemini's deliberately trapping the makeshift weapon inside her, slamming her head forward in a vicious headbutt to try and make Furiosa let it go.]
I'll take that.
