tinglin for a minglin
Who: Vanquish crew and visitors!
Broadcast: Nah?
Action: On the Vanquish and around the planet!
When: Right meow, and also for March
[Vanquish crew? Up to things? It's more likely than you think.
Get in here, it's time for a mingle!]

Today, though, she's doing neither of these things. Today, she's carrying Clay's fox around in her arms, and they appear to be talking to each other. Or, at least, Clay's fox makes fox noises, and Caster responds normally. It's about like hearing one half of a conversation. And, of course, when Caster spots someone, the fox yips, and Caster fixes you with a judgmental look.]
Eh, really? Is that so?
[Apparently the fox can talk to foxes. Who knew?]

Uh... what?

[She covers her mouth with one of her sleeves, but still manages to look scandalized.]
no subject
... What, can you understand him?
no subject
[judgment intensifies.]
Well, it's a good thing Cosmic is so fond of you.

W... What'd he say?

Though, he's doing everything with a soft and wondrous smile, lately. Kaworu's been one for smiling in the first place, but discerning people may notice that these days, he's positively over the moon. As it were. So there's the glitter and there are the rocks, but there are other things, too... Lately, he's been trying to cook. Or... something? He mixes together a great array of flavors, but it's only once in a while that his efforts turn out better than a nuclear disaster. Perhaps that's to be expected, but... he does eat every dish, every time. No complaints from him aside from murmurs about how some mysterious individual (not so mysterious if you've listened to him babble about Shinji Ikari) may or may not like it.
So endeavors like these are common right now, and it will be easy for you to find Kaworu puttering around with stars in his eyes. Whether you catch him decorating or "cooking", he will probably be humming—Rachmaninoff, Liszt, Beethoven, and even... the Beatles?]

But now Kaworu's in the kitchen making his... concoctions... and Clay has to watch, somewhat fascinated, with this rock under his arm. And listening to him hum - he kind of recognizes it, but he was never one to get into a wide variety of music.]
Soooo... what're you cooking now?
no subject
[...Broth...
But he's not done yet. Oh no. His next questions are dangerous for Clay:] Do you like that? Would you like to keep it in your room? I don't mind.
no subject
[... Broth...
But oh. So. That's why the rock was there.
He blinks, looks down at the rock that he was absolutely planning on just tossing out, then looks back at Kaworu with a nervous smile.]
I! Sure! I like it a lot! I was just... here to ask you about it!
no subject
Of course, there may be other places it would better suit. Can you think of somewhere else you'd like to see it?
no subject
W-Well, I mean. It can stay by my door! Or, I dunno...
[THE GROUND?]
Maybe in the docking bay? So that it's like... coming in... from the outside?
no subject
The more time wears on, the more disappointed she looks. Inasmuch as it's very dramatic disappointment and she sighs heftily after a while if someone's in earshot, tucking into a can of tuna.]

Felix spends about 30% of his time on the bridge anyway, even when they're visiting a planet, so at some point, Katie and he will be inhabiting the bridge at the same time. Felix is at the piloting console, poking at the nav computer. Finally, though, he looks up, an eyebrow raised.]
...Something wrong?
[She clearly wants an audience.]

I could be eating cake instead of fish. When's our ship going to crash into another one?
[I may be starved for excitement.]
no subject
I feel like you could obtain cake in less terrifying ways.
[He likes this ship as it is, thanks.]
no subject
...I wonder if it's possible to separate the ships after. Like a Gemini deal.
no subject
Probably depends on the way in which they're welded together. Although I wouldn't put anything past the Atroma, at this point.
