[She nods, smiling a bit. Carl was probably the only reason she was trying to fight through all the mess in her head these days.]

Yeah. Met his family while they were drifting through, they found my daddy's farm and we gave them shelter until we had to move on with them. He's been family ever since.

[As she tells the story, her hands unconsciously come together so she can twist her wedding ring. She hadn't even thought of how Glenn would feel if something had happened to her. Now she felt completely ashamed.]
