[Stefan doesn't visit the Centre much - mostly to check up on Beverly or Jennifer - but he doesn't seem that surprised to see Ravi either. Carefully heading over, he folds his arms and tilts his head towards the notes.]

Making any progress, doc?

[Ravi pauses to acknowledge Stefan with a nod when he enters and then resumes the necropsy he's in the middle of performing.]

A little. I had to take some time to learn the anatomy, but it's similar enough.

[stefanged]

Huh. [His gaze falls down on the necropsy - and Stefan doesn't flinch at the sight. He feels like he should, but medical school and his vampirism had beaten that instinct out entirely.] You know, I wouldn't have guessed that, but I also haven't exactly met anyone from this planet.

Well, I can attest to the fact that they're lovely folk, and that their anatomy is evolved for their underwater lifestyle.

[He finishes taking a few more samples and then looks up to Stefan again.]

Fancy some suturing practice?

Sure. [Stefan rolls up his sleeves, already reaching for a pair of nonlatex gloves.] It's been a while, though, so bare with me.

It's probably going to be better than mine. My resident is always nagging at me to do a neater job of it.

Ah, well - aren't all residents supposed to be a little confident? It usually comes with the lack of experience.
