[aizawa perches crouched atop a crate in the cargo bay, watching max and not exactly being subtle about it. while he's not crazy about the idea of being docked underwater, it's not exactly any more dangerous than traveling through space.

max though, that's absolutely the body language and behavior of a man staving off a genuine panic attack. and though aizawa doesn't think max will intentionally snap and hurt anybody, he's not leaving it up to chance and has appointed himself as kind of a watchdog. just in case.

it's only after max scratches at that brand on his neck for the eighth time that aizawa finally speaks up.] You need a sedative?

No.

[The voice is rough and sandpapered, his glare like daggers. But it's more a genuine hatred of the concept of medication than anything -- he's gotten used to not having anything like that, but more than that, he knows just what things like sedatives can do in the wrong hands. He doesn't trust anything to be put in his blood. For a number of reasons.

... But he's clearly a creature that is just lashing out in tone, fear-biting.

He bites the inside of his cheek, looking away.]

Alright, [aizawa answers easily enough, but considering that less than reassuring response he's still going to keep watch. hopefully it'll just stay that way.]

[He rubs the brand again. Seems to realize it, though, and drops his hand quickly.

And then he continues his pacing.
