[ Jaime too had felt compelled to explore. He'd enjoyed swimming as a child, when he could get away with it, but splashing around in the water fell firmly under the heading of "Acting Like a Fool" as far as his father was concerned, so he hadn't had much opportunity - or any opportunity at all in ages.

So now that he'd found himself on a world that seemed to be entirely composed of ocean, it seemed he ought to take advantage. It all takes some getting used to - breathing under water, swimming with one hand - and the latter makes him bitter. Why did that one bloody appendage have to ruin everything he'd ever been any good at?

And then he crosses paths with Jeyne. He stops to watch her for a moment, and he can't help but smile (albeit faintly). She looks so very happy, so utterly carefree... ]

You seem to be enjoying yourself.

[She looks up at Jamie and immediately blushes. Despite all, it was hard to separate from her memories of her past and the conflict he had with her husband's family. He was still handsome and she could still remember giggling about him with her friends. The sun didn't help matters, making him appear more golden before her eyes.

Jeyne looked down at the seashells in her hands and laughed, amused at her silliness.]

I am! This reminds me of the Westerlands. I would swim nearly all the time with my brother. Sometimes we would make necklaces and wind chimes out of seashells. I haven't seen a true ocean in some time.

I missed it.

Are you enjoying yourself, my lord?

[ As he listens to her story and tries to imagine her and her brother swimming and collecting shells, he can't help but put Myrcella and Tommen in their place. That was the sort of childhood they should have had. And yet...

He smiles somewhat sadly and answers her question with a shrug. ]

I suppose so. It's a little unsettling, though, breathing water and all...

It is strange, but this is a place full of strange things.

[She smirked, looking down once more at her seashells. It was odd to have this conversation with Jamie Lannister, knowing that he was an adversary to Robb, knowing what his family had done to her husband. She felt a pang, uncertain if she was being disloyal by having a pleasant conversation with a man she had been raised to follow and revere.]

Lord Tyrion is not with you today?
