Rome actually had to build a wall on my northern border to keep Scotland from attacking when I was still just a tot. Wales to the west, and the Irelands a little further on another island.

I'm not related to the ones across the channel over on the other side. But France and I have never really gotten on either, the vain frog. Heavens know we've killed each other plenty of times, and if we'd been human it'd have stuck.

Yes and no. Most of are are technically in a kingdom together now, but it's not like we sing jolly songs together at the holidays. Old grudges die hard.

Our citizens aren't killing each other and we share a queen, so I'm no longer morally obligated to punch them in the face whenever we so much as breathe the same air.

If anything, Elizabeth scolds us for giving each other black eyes. Matter of appearances, I suppose.

"Very much so - there were seven of us, and both my uncles had four each, so family reunions, as you can imagine, were loud."

Oh lord. I can't picture having that many relatives. Being around the royal family's ever growing clan is enough!

Then I envy you. Other than my time with Mum and when I was raising the twins, I can't say my family life was... well, much at all.
